Icky has been getting beat and getting QBs hit all season. Need to roll out away from him or give him help on obvious pass plays. Baker got smacked hard because of Ekwonu against the Ravens. PJ was abused against the Falcons. Darnold made a TD pass this season when Ekwonu got him pasted to the turf. These QBs have been completing passes while taking punishment from Ekwonu's side. It's all there to watch if you decided to go back and look.

      This cannot be understated.  Side notes: Pat Jones could have had about 3-4 sacks... very effective at stunts.  Scourtin is going to be really good in a couple years. They both need help learning how to finish.

      1) the resources used to get Bryce prevent his early release. 2) the roster resources spent around the QB to make it work prevent his early release. 3) the coaching hires purely aimed at salvaging the QB prevent his early release. 4) finally, the owners foolish pride in selecting the QB prevents his early release.  Good or bad the move to get Bryce has to play out.  It’s almost over tho so hang tight.
