Soon as we were out of range for top two qbs, I really don’t care. If this team beats the Cowboys in round one, I will be much more interested because even by chance they make it, it will be due to a trash division, just like when we made it 7-9 and it was realized very quickly that team had absolutely no business being there.

I will say statistically speaking in comparing teams who’ve made it in the past this team is similar. Outside of a QB of course. But having a beast offensive line and stout defense is great.

I think the pass rush and qb is what is going to be the demise of this team. Geno Smith has made a lot of risky/dumb throws this season, he just always lucked out but that’s catching up to him.

Point is, we have had games where the panthers give the opposing QB all day. That will get you obliterated come playoff time.

Of course. Win and you're in...this team is going to leave nothing on the field.

Famously, years ago when Fox became HC he told the team they were not tough enough.  Wilks came in, did not say it, but is showing the team that they were not being coached tough enough.  It is amazing how quickly he has transformed the team.  The team is responding and getting better every week.  Each week they are also showing Tepper what a big mistake he made with what's his name.

GO PANTHERS!

Excellent words.

We are playing with house money. We were literally only a game away from being as bad as the Texans, the worst team in the league.

Our opportunity for one of the top 2 qb's went out the window the moment Rhule was fired and Wilks was named head coach.

Ride this bitch as far as it will go.

The Carolina Panthers fight for a spot
In the playoffs, with all their might
Brian Burns and Jaycee Horn, so hot
Together, they form a formidable sight

Steve Wilks leads them with his steady hand
While Sam Darnold adds his youthful fire
They strive for victory, across the land
Determined to fulfill their playoff desire

Their strength and skill, they put on display
As they battle each week, with all their heart
Their fans cheer them on, in every way
Hoping they'll soon, have a brand new start

The playoffs loom, and they are ready
The Carolina Panthers, fierce and steady.

AI is incredible

    • What?!?!?! Chark's 1,000 yard season was 4 years before he played for us and he only had 525 yards in 15 games as our #1 WR.  Dude has 3,100 yards in 7 seasons, he's the literal definition of a JAG and you think he is better than half our current WR room? T-Mac is literally already better than Chark was at his peak, which again, was years before he ever even put on a Panthers uniform, and there is a real argument to be made that XL and Coker were both better as rookies than Chark was for us in his one season here.
    • Im glad we're starting low. It's nonsensical to put us at 28 IMHO based on objective things IMHO (I think 21-24) is far more appropriate but whatever. Washington was at the bottom last year FWIW.  In 2003, Sports Illustrated said our best chance to win the division was to transfer to the ACC. In 2015, everyone wrote us off as a team that snuck into the playoffs with a losing record in 2014 and lost our best WR in TC (Kelvin Benjamin). All these videos are fodder for conversation, but this prediction has no more validity than saying the Panthers are making the SB bc we're starting the season against the Jaguars again. If Bryce plays like he did down the stretch we will end up the season just fine. This roster is much better than it has been the last 2 seasons. No one knows who any season will ultimately end up, but this team is finally being built in the right way, and the idea that this roster can't compete this year is as insane as being it was when we were gaslit in 2023 that we were a rookie QB from winning the division with that roster.
