Interesting.  If he wants us, he sees something.  Maybe it is because our owner is rich and gives big contracts, but I think it is less about money than it is about his ego.  He sees the NFC South as a place he can dominate with a QB.

Its obvious what could be. Get your QB on this team as it sits and you run the South for years. We are young but have talent in key areas. We have enormous amounts of cap space the next few years, and an owner with tons if money that he is willing to spend. We also have extra draft picks due to the CMC trade. We have a really good situation here.

@4Corners Take your meds bro. Make sure to take them with food. You should have some leftover meatloaf in the fridge that your mom made last night. Head upstairs and grab it.  Might feel better if you take a shower and get all that grease off you. I know its hard to reach, but theres that scrubby extension that can help you reach and clean your ass. lord knows you have a stinky ass problem from sitting and roasting your bunghole all day at the computer.

Great point and I’m not sure the PSL sales and current stadium atmosphere could take another 3-5 years.

This is a good point--and the measure Tepper should be considering.  At that SF game, I was embarrassed that a team from 3000 miles away would have their colors throughout my team's stadium.

Most of the narrative that is coming out is that Sean Payton is after us more than we are after him

I mean Tepper was going after Payton before he fired Rhule.  Remember when Rhule had the presser where he had to come out and say Tepper totally said it wasn’t true.

    • And that makes you right.
    • Mel Kiper said he would retire if Jimmy Clausen wasn't a successful NFL starter too. Just because the experts make a claim doesnt mean it's true either.  Bryce may be a serviceable QB for someone. Serviceable QBs don't bring you a perennial winner or lead you to the playoffs over and over. Serviceable QBs also dont get 50m plus per year deals which is what a Bryce extension would look like.  The stats show he hasn't been even a serviceable QB in the 3 years he's been here. The eye test shows he hasn't put together 2 franchise QB salary games back to back in 3 years.  Complain all you want about people being negative, but people pointing out that Bryce is held to a different standard than anyone else on the team isn't complaining. It's stating the obvious.
    • We have big bodied WRs and 3 TEs who all have potential and each bring something different to the table. I never saw the need to go out there and try and find a new starting TE.  While it's nice to have a guy like McBride, Bowers, etc, I think a team's better use of the cap is by having TEs on rookie contracts or cheap vets, not having to pay elite TE money.
