Doesn’t surprise me. We’ve always had defensive minded HC that we’re satisfied with offenses that were run-heavy and “efficient” passing. Those days are over.

Defense wins Superbowls and/or Tom Brady

Wonder if Tepper will speak or go into hiding?

I feel sure he will have a news conference shortly pertaining to the hiring  of our new head coach .

That will give us some insight on what he is planning to do going forward with the team and what he expects out of  Frank Reich, his new head coach.

I have received several text msgs from colts fans offering their condolences

I pay little attention to them, fans will be fans. After they have a losing 2023 season, they may be wishing they had him as a head coach.

3 of the 4 have outstanding defenses to be fair though....I'm not sure of KC defense...

They have an all world QB.

We could also have an outstanding D if our O could be average or better instead of bottom of the league. We dont need to make things so hard on our D.

It also doesnt mean because we have an offensive HC that our D has to suck.

    • Did the Canes strike gold again? Cerrato leads the NCAA in points with 11 in 4 games.
    • I'm right there with you, brother. I've been a Panther fan since the day the team was awarded to the Carolinas.  We've had some good years, a couple of great years, as well as some low periods and no consecutive winning seasons. But I never thought I'd see such a period as we have over the past several years.   It has gotten to the point of being rather apathetic in watching them. In fact, I told my wife before the Miami game I was watching just to see what new and creative way they lose another game. And early on, it looked like they would. But damned if Miami wasn't more creative than the Panthers.   I'm now older than my Dad when he died (he was 65) and, like you, I've wondered if I'll ever see them have another winning season. I'd sure like to think I will.
    • again, I am not his employer, I dont follow his stuff or read any of it including social media, but he has been employed long enough where someone thinks he is doing a good job, not disagreeing he isnt an moron but I am not calling for anyones job for being a moron when it really doesnt affect me
