Everything comes to an end eventually. Acceptance of the certainty and permanence of what you cannot control can be so difficult. Especially when you have been to the Top.... been the very best.

Like most very successful NFL quarterbacks they play too long and rarely leave on top.  He had several times to retire after winning a Superbowl but always wanted more.  Now he goes out after a decent but not great year and lost his family in the process. Don't feel sorry for him at all.

It's pretty crazy how much of a QB wasteland it could be and quick.  Best be the team to find one sooner than later.

Don't forget Kyler is likely to miss a good chunk of next season after tearing his ACL in late December. I'd probably rank Goff in the top 5 of NFC QBs next year.

Tier 1: Hurts

Tier 2: Cousins / Dak / Stafford (if healthy)

Tier 3: Goff / Geno / Jones / Kyler

And to top it off, we have that damn movie "80 for Brady" coming out, too.  Which I will not be going to see.

      My concern would still be a concern had we won today. We have got to start playing 3 periods of hockey. We heard it coming out of the 1st round, and it popped up again today. We settle in and play start to finish we’ll be fine, but until we can show we can do it, I’m biting my nails a bit. Special teams can’t take a step back in the playoffs.    Here’s to coming home with the series 1-1. I wouldn’t be surprised if we’ll have to win 2 in MSG to advance.
