One can only hope.  I wish they would magically find a way the flip Ian Thomas for a draft pick. I know, but it's my world and I make the rules.

We may......a 9th rounder from the St. Louis Cardinals, Baltimore Colts, or Houston Oilers.

If Brissett is our starting QB next season I will vomit.

If Brissett is your starting quarterback means he's keeping the seat warm for a rookie.

Also, if we are going to do a  bridge QB... whats wrong with just keeping Darnold?

It's an option. Entirely possible McCown might go to bat for him in that scenario.

Well, well, well apparently I'm not the only one that thinks Brissett is the likely veteran QB the Panthers sign. I've only been saying this since Reich's first day.

To be fair, the dots being connected are pretty easy to align here.

I hope Brissett is the bridge guy. We would've made the playoffs with him last year at QB and he will be able to run Reich's system, while mentoring the youngster.

I wouldn't mind Brissett as a bridge guy. Hell, the Giants just spent $40M+ per year on Jacoby Brissett level play.

Brissett had a decent year in 2019 under Reich. If we can get that kind of play from him while our rookie develops that would be great.

    • That’s not a bad idea at all. I was really liking the whole cali-style carne asada. We might do that next week instead of enchiladas for the rams. Was planning on: Saints-Gumbo Tampa-Cuban Sandwiches Seattle- Salmon Stew Tampa- Seafood Boil
    • I agree, honestly you can not trade a player that has Balls talent. Just sitting in street clothes FOR years, it doesn't matter if you are averaging 50points on 88% with 18 rebs, 15 asst, 4 stls if you never can play. These are the worst type of players, teasers. Its HIS JOB to get his body in NBA shape and he has proven that he can not. Thus you break the rule about trading top shelf talent. Hell NBA need to have NFL contracts where the full sum isn't guaranteed, you bet your ass if his money was tied to his playing on the court he'd somehow figure out how to stay healthy.   Plus Im a old head, I member when Seth Curry in his 17(Jesus..) year career had ankle problems and guess what, he solved the issues and got all the money, championships, and fame. Ball doesn't have the same drive to figure out his body, he'd rather drive his car on kids feet while rushing home to drive his go-cart on the roof of his condo after missing his 42nd game of the season.....
