I agree with you. I think he is underrated because he was an undrafted free agent and doesn't have the "pedigree" of other wide receivers. 

We haven't had a guy who you can count on for that big 3rd down catch or red zone catch that on the roster since Greg Olson retired.

I think his playing style and abilities age better than those WRs thats rely in athletic ability

 

he gets open due to route running and is sure handed

 

would be a great vet presence for a rookie

Excellent point that we can offer a starting spot. Can’t imagine a lot of other teams with any chance at the playoffs would start him.

2 ACL tears, has only played the full season in 2 of his 9 years and he hasn't done that since 2019
