Reich/Fitterer noon press conference

As a fan of a team that has gone into various seasons with the following starters:

Nate Chandler, Sione Fua, Cam Erving, Haruki Nakamura, Brenton Bersin, Byron Bell, Robbie Anderson, Ian Thomas, Edmund Kugbila, Matt Paradis, Matt Kalil, Dwayne Jarrett, Keary Colbert, Kealoha Pihlares, good lord the list goes on…

You’ve gotta be happy with what these guys have done. We may not have a Cam Newton, Luke Kuechly, Steve Smith, Julius Peppers type (yet), but dammit if I don’t feel better about this roster top to bottom than I have in a long time. There are some weaknesses, but certainly nothing as glaring as going into a season with Byron Bell and Nate Chandler starting on your offensive line.

I agree we’re way to happy, but it’s the overall professionalism the level of quality coaches composed on each side of the ball. Throw in the number one pick it’s like damn they can’t miss. But I still double back to it’s just the off-season but that’s where we’re at so we can only judge what we’ve seen and so far we’ve been making moves.
