Young 'absolutely blew away' HC Frank Reich when talking football

I watched a lot of CJ’s games this year thinking the Panthers had a shot at him. I’ve gone back and forth on him. I think he has the ability to be a very good precession passer in the NFL, but do worry about how he handles pressure. Yes, the UGA game he showed that he can run some which is crucial, but there were a lot of throws this season when the pocket collapsed just a little bit, that had me scratching my head.

The more and more I think about it, the more and more I think it’s going to be Bryce. He’s just that special of a player, even with the size concern, if they pass on him it could be one of the biggest regrets in franchise history.

Runningback or linebacker?

Yeah that was vintage Hurney 😕

He also picked a Qb, a DE (I think he was responsible for getting Peppers, but could be wrong), a CB (Gamble), and two tackles.  One of the tackles failed due to injury but the other one turned out pretty well.  The tackle (Otah) was perhaps his only first round miss, and that injury related.

He wasn't good at some of the other football things, but I don't think anyone can legitimately criticize his first-round picks for the Panthers.

He was heavily involved in the 2001 draft as well.

No, we don't.

Not that it matters anyway because Reich and Fitterer are making the pick.

Not if Nicole has any say about it...lol

This means nothing and just a pic of a hug nothing more. Not a guarantee of being the pick at all which seems you are insinuating. And again no it isn't.

    • I don't really care as much about athleticism and arm strength.  While Murray might be better in that regard, I think Bryce has enough of both to do well in the NFL. The main reason this trade reference is silly is the money and the fact that Murray has been around a long while and hasn't proven that he can perform consistently when the game is on the line.  Bryce has shown that he can play well in the clutch (in the few opportunities he has had).
    • If Bryce can continue the level of play he showed after the benching, then there's a good shot we at least compete to win the division. Tampa is a solid team but even last year in our week division they went 10-7 and will be on their 4th OC in as many years. The Saints are a mess and are in a mist of a half rebuild half still trying to compete mode and will probably be starting a rookie QB. The Falcons are a wild card as they have a really good offense but are we really crowning Michael Penix as a franchise QB after just 3 games?  The only thing I want out of this season is for Bryce to come out and without a shadow of a doubt prove he's our franchise QB. If that happens then most of the fanbase would be happy and I believe we'd be in a good place record wise at the end of the season. Maybe falling just short of winning the division with a chance to sneak in as a wild card team.
