Thick smoke: CJ Stroud red flags coming out - "not an easy guy to coach," "CJ Stroud...giving the Carolina Panthers pause"

Could be more smoke to get Stroud to fall after the betting odds shifted in favor of Young. Could be some merit.

Either way, these are certainly interesting claims. Appears Stroud has some questions in the eyes of some teams and supposedly the Panthers.

Per Wingo, "There are things in the equation that are giving the Carolina Panthers pause about CJ Stroud and that may be why they're leaning back towards Bryce Young:"

Per VSIN, CJ Stroud is apparently "not an easy guy to coach."

Make of these what you will.

All honesty, sounds like smoke and trying to get him to fall now that teams are salivating at the idea the Panthers have Young locked in. Or maybe it has some merit.

Just more fuel for the smoky fire that has been draft season so far.

Especially when he will come for a visit with Panthers in 7 days and coming out of the blue suddenly.

I am in favor of Young, but Stroud is a very good player, and he seems to be humble and very morally grounded.  He seems smart.  What about that says, "uncoachable?"

Nobody has even seen or said anything about Stroud being uncoachable. This is an odd turn of events especially from sports media and their way of at times saying what is actually going on..

There’s something that’s been eating at me with Stroud, and it goes back to something Deion Sanders said. Sanders said, regarding recruiting, they look for QBs from 2 parent households. I’d be curious if there are many, if any, successful NFL QBs without strong father figures. I don’t know the answer to the question, but I do believe that strong fathers are important to building strong men. That doesn’t mean there is no possibility to be a strong man without a strong father, but it definitely makes it harder. Take it for what you will. Stroud could be great regardless, or he could flop and it have nothing to do with his father being in prison.
