Day 3 needs

As I see it, our biggest needs are still CB, and OL. I would love to land one of the following:

CB: Ringo or Rush. Both are big, fast guys and excellent value at this point of the draft.

OL:  Zavala, Emil Ekiyor Jr., or Braeden Daniels

Bonus: Roschon Johnson. Big, punishing RB that loves to block and doesn't fumble. Yes please.

Doubt Ringo will fall to us, and I wanted the DE from Northwestern at our last pick, but passing on him to trade up for another pass rusher probably eliminates him as an interest of ours here.

I wouldn't be against MLB Henry To'oTo'o from Alabama (also then force him to wear #22 just because it would be funny).

I know we need some OL depth, but I think we can still take someone here in the 4th who could have a bigger impact this season than a backup OL.  I'd rather sign some vets who get cut in camp and/or use the 5th rounder on an OL, but if we use the 4th on one, I'd like it to be someone with experience at multiple spots on the line like Cade last year, give us a bunch of backups who can play multiple positions.

I'm still baffled at the DJ Johnson pick...

Me too I just can’t talk myself into understanding it..

Trading up and getting a developmental project that’s 25 years old already??? I don’t get it..

Fitterer has gone full Gettleman mode, but instead of going with freakishly big players, Fitt goes with the swiss army knife project players. No need to use the draft to build a team. 5 picks a year and trading away 1st round picks during year 1 of a rebuild will lead to a dynasty. No windows for players or coaches here.

Same. I would have been fine with him at pick 132 and he probably still would have been there

    • Idk man, I think it’s necessary.  There’s people working 9-5s everyday that get told poo about what they aren’t and what they’re not capable of and they’re working for scraps.  These guys are making millions.  People are watching and invested because their team and fandom is a part of their identity and a big source of pride.  When someone like Bryce comes in and is given chance after chance after chance after proving he is not worthy of the position he’s being gifted, and he continues to be the biggest reason above any that we are losing, yeah…  I think it’s fair to call a spade a spade.  Am I saying Bryce the person is trash?  Bryce the person is a piece of poo?  Absolutely not.     I came up in an era, especially in basketball, where if you were fuging up people heckled the poo out of you.  I played in rec leagues as a teen where the fuging parents were calling kids trash and yelling poo like “TURNOVER!!!  TURNOVER!!!”  “CANT DRIBBLE!”  “CANT SHOOT!”  And that’s adults screaming that poo to kids like we were in the fuging Rucker lol.🤣🤣🤣  I went on to play basketball at a collegiate level and with professional players in different settings.  What those experiences as a kid taught me was to see if there is any merit to what people are saying, and if there is, then work my ass off til they can’t say that anymore.  Come back better, tougher, harder.  And I did.  If kids can figure that poo out, an adult calling another adult who is bad at his job while making millions and millions of dollars will be just fine.
    • I have tried to like this team, lord knows I have tried. BY9 is a nice young man, if I had a daughter he can take her to prom, but he ain't QB1 and he's not Cam or Delhomme Chuba is a average RB, he isn't Stephen Davis, he isn't J-Stew McMillan has the makings of a good WR, but he isn't 89/Moose D. Brown is a great player, but if the game was on the line I want Kris Jenkins       I miss this brand of football, even in the bad Jake games the games were entertaining It has been nearly 8 years now of watching numb football
    • I'm not so sure. Something about the whole Frank/Bryce situation seemed off from day 1. Bryce didn't fit Frank's QB mold as well as Stroud, then he basically gives up when Bryce is named starter in preseason but gets virtually no reps in games. Then he looks completely unprepared and Dalton steps in in Seattle, has a decent game under immense pressure, and it's right back to Bryce. All his mechanics are terrible and he's having the worst rookie season ever and Frank doesn't bench him?  You dont have to be a conspiracy theorist to know Bryce wasn't ready to be a day 1 starter. Everything with Bryce, then coaches, and the FO seemed forced.
