Projected Offense Starting Lineups for All 4 NFC South Teams

Thought this was pretty cool. Who has the best offense on paper here? Just includes QB and skill players, don't see O lines here. Also kinda wondering if Theilen and Chark really are the starting WRs... I feel like that could change up by week 1 and change even more through the season. Starting a 33 year old WR on the outside might be a bit sus to me.

Kamara might not be available:

Kamara is scheduled to be back in court on July 31. [ for the trial on the assault charge]

Kamara is going to miss some time during training camp dealing with his legal issues.

And an NFL suspension will likely follow regardless of the outcome. The league has a precedent of sidelining players for about six games whether or not they have been found guilty; violent charges like this are still a violation of the league’s personal conduct policy.

With video evidence...not sure how he could get out of this.  That was awful.

It really depends on miles sanders. If he’s a 1000 yard rusher then the panthers offense is probably the best in that group. If there are growing pains then NO offense will be the best in the division. Imo

Assuming everyone stays healthy and discounting Kamara’s potential missed games, it’s NO with us close behind. If you assume Michael Thomas doesn’t return to form, Chark breaks at some point, Kamara missed significant games, etc I’d say it’s us then NO close. TB and Atl have some weapons (a couple apiece, TB has a strong edge between the two) but the QBs will handicap them.

I have no idea why Atlanta trade Ridley. Just a stupid move for them.

He's going to be a top 5 WR with Trevor Lawrence imo.

Ridley the guy that stopped playing for them after 5 games because of mental illness than got suspended the whole year the year after?

    • I think Canales goes before Young in that scenario.
    • But that's the point, if the locker room feels that way, then you're going to upset them by still keeping Bryce around and playing him over the Top 10 pick, as opposed to bringing in a vet to start until the rookie is ready. Again, it goes one of 3 ways... 1. Bryce plays well enough to earn an extension 2. Bryce still sucks and we draft his replacement who starts Week 1 with a new QB as his backup 3. Bryce still sucks, we draft his replacement in the 1st, but they start the season backing up a new vet QB who was brought in to be his mentor. With an OUTSIDE chance at a 4th option where Bryce plays well enough to convince the team to let him play out the 5th year option and then make a decision.  Which I can't see it happening, but there is still a non zero chance of that happening I guess. The only way we draft a QB next year and still have Bryce on the roster, is if we're taking someone in the middle rounds hoping to develop them as a long term backup to Bryce.
    • I hear you. But I am not absolving Legette just because he is from my neck of the woods or anything else.  Tge comment was more about the fans uneven application of blame.  I do agree that there is a noticeable disconnect between him and the QB and that he might do better with a more polished and capable delivery man.  Abd don’t feel that they used XL right, or at least how I expected it to look.  And that could be a function of a reticent WB that shies away from that style of attack. I mean it was either him or Canales that pretty much eliminated downfield from the playbook - even while we see guys running free at times. It Could work if they commit to it.  Whoever isn’t committing.
