Hell is that month-and-a-half stretch between the NBA Finals and NFL Hall of Fame game

Summer is rough for sports as a guy who doesn't consider baseball a sport. Been getting more into tennis lately and wimbledon was nice to watch but yeah still a really rough stretch.

Jets are going to flop.

They have been the talk of the offseason. Rodgers had trouble getting to the SB in the weaker NFC. I have a hard time believing he will make it past Allen/Burrow/Lawrence/Lamar and of course Mahomes.

Not even sure the Jets are the best team in their division. This feels like the Bills hype train from last year by the media.

They started 6-3 last year with a worse QB situation than us, the D was legit top 5 last year and they added Will McDonald at edge. Won't be surprised if joint practices are rough next week.

We had quite possibly the worst HC in NFL history. Our team and staff was laughed at by everyone.

So how can you not be excited about 2023? Frank Reich, two coordinators who might be HC’s next year, an actual NFL caliber QB and upgrades all over the team.

as for the HOF game, I liked the coverage of the inductees… some old school ballers in there.

That wasn't terrible.  He's obviously not tone deaf but there were a ton of flat notes.

Oh well, singing is fuging hard and a lot more physical than people think.  I couldn't do better.

It was kind of terrible. But good for him, super brave and it looked like he really enjoyed it.

    • Not sure he is in the top ten but: His 9.99 RAS score, second among 1,512 tackles since 1987, isn't a gimmick. You see every bit of that explosiveness translate to the field when he kicks and slides in pass sets. NFLDraftBuzz

    • I got called into HR one time, as they were doing their research after a verbal altercation that I had with another employee. He was the one that started the sh¡t and had the nerve to go to HR. Well, I did the meeting, & the manager gave me her card & said if there was anything else I wanted to say regarding the investigation, to contact her. I thought about it later that day, so I used our company email and told her that I was willing to take a lie detector test, and that if he and his two friends were willing to do the same, once it was determined that they were lying and that I was telling the truth, then they would have to be punished accordingly. Funny thing is, after that, I never heard from her again, or anything about the investigation. It's like it never happened.  Anyway, yeah 89 isn't doing himself any favors with this one. He wants to fight with a guy old enough to be his dad because of Rivera's lack of communication, even if there was some perceived hypocrisy going on. That's just not a good look.
