There's a solid chance we get extra eyes on the squad what with the NY Media and rest of the circus that follows Rodgers around, so hopefully we get some good insight all around.

be interesting to see if we get a little NY perspective after the game via the Hard Knocks episode too.

These joint practices always make me nervous about injuries

Agreed. Didn't KB go down in 2015 against the Dolphins in joint practices? Wound up potentially being a blessing in disguise to get Cam to spread the ball around but by all accounts he was dominating that camp and was on the verge of a real break out. Tensions run high in these and guys fighting for roster spots can take liberties, I think we had a scrub fringe guy cheapshotting patriots players here in NE last year (not that I have any sympathy for them).

I hope we get more coverage from the NY media today, coverage has really been lacking from Panthers media this camp so far. Excited to get a better evaluation of Bryce and our D against another team.

    • It's not common for a RB to recover from two ACL tears in the same knee. It's fairly rare. You are correct that it isn't the career ender that it used to be but there is also the fact that we appear to have largely moved on with the additions of Dowdle and Etienne.  Dobbins is a very good example. He has basically missed 54% of his career regular season games since he came into the league in 2020. It will end up being 57% at the conclusion of this season. It's a big contributing factor to why he is on this third NFL team in 6 years. It's certainly possible that may be 4 by the beginning of next season. I would say there is very little chance that Brooks ever contributes in any meaningful way in Carolina. Possibly with another team but I am extremely skeptical of his future here because of those injuries and because of the roster.
    • Dude he didnt play in pre season.....  he didnt practice at all with the team until the end of October.    I do agree though.
    • Bryce had a hand in the Miami win but not nearly as large of one as Rico and he also had the extra burden of being a big reason we were in the hole in the first place. If we get a winning season he is definitely back for next year though.
