Don’t think it has anything to do with Rowe not trying. He was back pedaling 40 yards down the field. He couldn’t get his hips turned quick enough to run with the receiver. Just bad technique there.

if the panthers look like this the first few games of the regular season, sure, you can start panicking. but poo, it's preseason football. overanalyzing what amounts to 1v1s, simple playcalling and tryouts for fringe roster guys is simply unproductive.

I don't care how vanilla it is, I still would expect some pro level play. We are bad on both sides of the ball and short draft picks next year to boot.

Yes. Jets and Giants doing it wrong.  All these other teams too.  You need to not try.  And then try week 1.   Keep it all a big secret.  Because a rookie, new scheme, etc can just flip a switch week 1.

Can't help but think of the Colts fans laughing their asses off at us taking Reich off their hands. Hoping he cleans this mess up and makes them eat their words but ooooof.
