QBs and WRs have had a pretty good run.

But yeah, their defensive guys sort of hint at the system and collective in Clemson being the real key there.   They have a lot of really good guys generally playing together on the line.  It's been an insanely deep position of late in Clemson.  Their weakest links are stronger than other teams and I think helps everyone to look their best.   Lot of those guys wouldn't have looked as good on less talented lines most likely.

He is a UNC Walmart stan. He is incapable of seeing past his biases and supports one of the most corrupt athletic programs in the country. It will be fun to watch their rapid decline into irrelevancy as the college sports landscape changes. They don’t have SEC money.

Clearly he underachieved but the athletic potential is there. A 7th rounder is an equivalent of a bag of chips

Not many players get this far into their career, look as bad as he has and end up making it.

He has looked like a bust and he will likely be a bust.

Spoken like a man who has never experienced the sheer bliss of Honey Mustard Pringles. I would not trade you my secret stash of them for Isiah Simmons.

Lays sour cream and onion you can have.

    • I wonder if they'd consider trading Rasheed Walker to a team that needs tackle help but missed out in the draft?
    • LOL. This is such a Panthers fan take.  Anyone who falls to us must suck because some other team didn't take them before.  We got lucky with Lemon, Thieneman, and Freeling all falling to us (honestly any of the three is a A+) but the WR and S positions are much deeper than the LT position in this draft.  We got the LT w/ the most upside at 19.  Mauigoa played RT in college and some think he is a guard in the nfl.  Spano played RT in college and some think he is a guard in the NFL due to short arms.  Blake Miller played RT in college and is not as good as Freeling.  Proctor is a true LT but his ability to handle quick edge's worries me (see Icky).  Freeling is a true LT and a gifted pass protector.  Many think he has a very high ceiling and will benefit from not having to start right away.  This is how you build a franchise.
    • After watching Cam get killed for years behind a bad Oline and having to watch the 2021 and 2023 Olines I will never complain about this team putting resources into that spot.  We got a true LT who could really push Rasheed Walker for the day 1 job. Go back and watch Iceky's draft profile from 2022 and all the talk was Ickey would be an all-pro guard in a zone blocking scheme, but he could play LT in a gap power run scheme. That's why Ickey looked really good when Wilks took over and we just started running gap run plays and just mauled people up front but under Canales we've been more of a zone running team. Ickey can survive at LT with his pass blocking but his true strength will always be his ability to just move guys in the run game and that's a skill set that's better used at guard.  Take another OT later on day 3 to learn from Moton to take over RT in a couple of years and let Walker and Freeling battle it out for the day 1 LT job then next offseason trade one of Hunt of Lewis and let Ickey move inside to guard.
