He played some today, gosh you fuging guys.....

he was a high reward low risk 5 mill signing to be a #1. Hes 25 and already made a probowl. Djack has even said hes fast. Yea theres injuries, but if not 4x that salary.

Panthers have a good solid training staff, i think all three will be ready for week 1.

Scotty Fitz ass is getting toasty in that seat if our pass defense and offensive pass production isn’t very good this year. He drafted Shi, and those corners. Maybe Ejiro can save him. My feeling is Tepper is gonna go by what Frank wants and if it doesn’t look good this year he might need to look at some real estate in a different state.

Who said he was the number 1 rw? This team has a different no.1 target on every play.

I’m not trying to sound snarky but I feel like this is always code for having crappy receivers.

I don’t mean it as a criticism of the FO as you can only do so much in an offseason. But it does feel like Theilen will be Young’s favorite target so far.

If the argument is simply Chark cannot be relied upon to be a true WR1, ok, fine. He’s had an injury history.

But, news flash, we traded away our WR1 this year. This is year 1 of a rebuild.

Also, the free agent market for WRs is always bare of young, good WR1s.

Chark provides excellent upside with low cost. The only risk is that he might get hurt. Which is true if any player.

Hopkins wanted to go to a contender. That’s not the Panthers and hasn’t been for over a half decade and won’t for a couple years despite the casual fan homerism here thinking we are a SB candidate every year.

All part of the cost of Tepper running his clown show.

He also wanted to go to coaches he was familiar with. The Panthers really had nothing to offer. You can’t just buy vets who would rather win and the ones after solely money are usually washed.

Panthers did what they could considering what was available and what they had to give up to get their QB. WR is going to be a position to build along with dline. If they can’t get someone across from Burns, he will be wasted.

Yeah they should have signed Justin Jefferson /s

The team did what it could. They drafted the best WR on their board with their highest pick after #1, signed two former pro bowl WRs in FA, a pass catching TE, and have a 3rd year 2nd round WR they’re high on. I’m not sure what else people want. The only option I’ve seen people talk about is Hopkins, but we really have no idea whether the team looked into him or not and whether he would have considered us (though his public comments suggest not.) People act like free agents just have no say in where they will go and the Panthers get first dibs on every player they want. If you want to say signing Chark was a mistake then why don’t you fill me in on all the great alternatives.

Also worth mentioning it's not like we were competing with ourselves for Chark's services. I know the Lions had an offer on the table for him and wanted him back.
