Let's discuss Bryce Young's debut

I did not like what I saw personally.

he looks tiny as advertised. he looks frail, he looks weak, he looks young, he looks scared, he looks very laid back but not in a good way.

he made a few decent throws. he's very robotic and safe, he's very fundamental driven but in a bad way.

his interceptions were ugly and practically identical mistakes.

I kept an eye on Anthony Richardson and he really does look like Cam Jr. 2 TD throws and a rushing TD. Got hurt towards the end carrying the team on his back like Cam.

hell even Baker looked leaps ahead of Bryce today. a lot of ball left but Bryce does not pass the initial eye test.

at times? he looked like...gulp Jimmy Clausen.

I'll see myself out...feel free to discuss amongst yourselves...

Bryce Young is not ready to be a starter in the NFL

His field vision is really bad, I thought that was supposed to be his ELITE trait?

Why is he the starter if the coaching staff doesn't allow him to stretch the field before desperation mode?

I honestly think him sitting and watching for the year could be good for him, let's be real this team isn't going anywhere this year.

Not terrible not great. He's got plenty to work on we can move on from the "generational processor" hype now. My biggest question is will this Panthers offense ever allow him to maximize his potential. We had a rookie WR look better than one of our third year wideouts. We have got to get this receiving core together.

    • I think i like the Oregon Safety better
    • Do you see the vision?  As of now our Carolina Panthers don’t have an identity. We are not an offensive powerhouse and on defense we only started getting it together towards the end of the year last year. In my opinion we are much closer to having an incredible defense that scares the daylights out of people. I say the answer is simple and we fully commit to that possible identity.    Emmanuel McNeil Warren (E man)  This guy is like a shark lurking around ready to attack anyone. Fearless. He is easily a top 20 talent in my eyes, and the only reason he isn’t more talked about is because he’s from Toledo. Do your due diligence as panther fans and watch his tape I beg you. Once you’re done watching let me ask you this, if you dropped E - Man into the strong safety spot on the Buckeyes, he isn’t being talked about as one of the best prospects we’ve seen in some time given the skill set you see with this guy? I think so. Put his name on the card and turn it in at 19.    Jacob Rodriguez  High effort, High energy, High IQ guy that flies around the field. We all know Jacob at this point. My only concern is he’s a little bit too good and I’m not sure he makes it to us at our pick in the second. With the additions of Jacob and E- Man I think our defense goes to top 5 in the league. We would have a duo of linebackers that rival anything we’ve had in our past. I’m not a GM so I don’t know what the possible answer could be, but if there’s a way we can comfortably trade up in the second to secure this guy I think we find a way to do it.    Spend the rest of our picks fixing the O - line.    Thoughts Panthers fans? Who’s the ideal duo for yall?
    • OL is arguably much more important to the success of a young QB. (Or any QB)
