Only this franchise could have ruined him. Good on him. The Charlotte browns remain trash. Bryce young also looks bored in the pocket. Even stroud put up numbers today, he still a bust though. Wonder if we can get a first for burns at the deadline

I prefer Carolina Lions, but good enough.

Our Panthers could only wish to have a head coach like LaFleur. Trade away both your hall of fame QB and one of the league's most electric wide receivers and still be competitive in close games? I've seen so much nonsense as a Panthers fan I can't even imagine what that feels like. But our head coaching vacancy came down between two previously fired head coaches. It was always going to be this way.

The post Rodgers Packers beat a bad Chicago team and just lost to the same team we lost to. I’m not sold one way or the other on them yet.

Hasn't this always been the thing about Baker Mayfield?  He will shine for a few games, and look like a world beater, then come back down to Earth and take his place as one of the worst QBs in the league?  Seems to have been his M.O. most years of his career.

Pretty much.  That's the problem with QBs who make bad decisions: they can clean it up for a few games while they are thinking about it, but at some point they revert to making bad decisions.  Darnold looked pretty decent for us his first few games, too, but then he fell back into the same trap.

People are jumping to all sorts of conclusions based on almost two weekends of games.  History tells us not to get too attached to things until October comes into focus.  Every year there is a lot of pyrite in September.

I feel like a lot of people are flunking history right now 😕

This. The NFL season really begins in Week 5.

Remember when we started 3-0 under Matt Rhule and thought we had fixed Sam Darnold? How'd that turn out?

That said, it wouldn't shock me if Baker ends up being good for them. Let's not forget he was the #1 overall pick; there IS talent there. But I feel pretty sure by the end of the year he'll revert to form.

It's possible.

I saw an ad on YouTube TV promoting Hallmark channel’s Christmas movie marathon.

Given some of the posts I’ve seen, this may be a healthy alternative for some folks.

Baker is still ass. His lone TD yesterday was a prayer he put up to Evans in double coverage. We dont have a WR or TE that is going to pull in balls like that.

It helps a ton when you have weapons, Their #2 Godwin is better than any WR we have had in years when healthy.

    • Idk man, I think it’s necessary.  There’s people working 9-5s everyday that get told poo about what they aren’t and what they’re not capable of and they’re working for scraps.  These guys are making millions.  People are watching and invested because their team and fandom is a part of their identity and a big source of pride.  When someone like Bryce comes in and is given chance after chance after chance after proving he is not worthy of the position he’s being gifted, and he continues to be the biggest reason above any that we are losing, yeah…  I think it’s fair to call a spade a spade.  Am I saying Bryce the person is trash?  Bryce the person is a piece of poo?  Absolutely not.     I came up in an era, especially in basketball, where if you were fuging up people heckled the poo out of you.  I played in rec leagues as a teen where the fuging parents were calling kids trash and yelling poo like “TURNOVER!!!  TURNOVER!!!”  “CANT DRIBBLE!”  “CANT SHOOT!”  And that’s adults screaming that poo to kids like we were in the fuging Rucker lol.🤣🤣🤣  I went on to play basketball at a collegiate level and with professional players in different settings.  What those experiences as a kid taught me was to see if there is any merit to what people are saying, and if there is, then work my ass off til they can’t say that anymore.  Come back better, tougher, harder.  And I did.  If kids can figure that poo out, an adult calling another adult who is bad at his job while making millions and millions of dollars will be just fine.
    • I have tried to like this team, lord knows I have tried. BY9 is a nice young man, if I had a daughter he can take her to prom, but he ain't QB1 and he's not Cam or Delhomme Chuba is a average RB, he isn't Stephen Davis, he isn't J-Stew McMillan has the makings of a good WR, but he isn't 89/Moose D. Brown is a great player, but if the game was on the line I want Kris Jenkins       I miss this brand of football, even in the bad Jake games the games were entertaining It has been nearly 8 years now of watching numb football
    • I'm not so sure. Something about the whole Frank/Bryce situation seemed off from day 1. Bryce didn't fit Frank's QB mold as well as Stroud, then he basically gives up when Bryce is named starter in preseason but gets virtually no reps in games. Then he looks completely unprepared and Dalton steps in in Seattle, has a decent game under immense pressure, and it's right back to Bryce. All his mechanics are terrible and he's having the worst rookie season ever and Frank doesn't bench him?  You dont have to be a conspiracy theorist to know Bryce wasn't ready to be a day 1 starter. Everything with Bryce, then coaches, and the FO seemed forced.
