The impressive throw you wanted from Bryce

Still posting Bryce's college highlights in general after 3 games into his struggling pro career is not the flex you think is nor does it signify what he can accomplish currently in the pros as its in the past. You rarely see anybody even resort to this once a player gets in the league which means you are just grasping for anything. Im not the one that needs to be better, bryce does.

You wanted to know if he CAN throw it far enough for a Hail Mary play. That’s just an arm strength capability question. He showed you video proof he can and you are crying it was in college. That’s completely irrelevant and I know you understand that but just are refusing to accept it so you can keep whining about a point that doesn’t exist.

the entire minute starting at 17 is just impressive

A donkey could run the sh!t we’re running on offense right now which seems to be the extent of Reich’s system so why in the hell did we take some “super processor” and not the guy with the size, mobility and best natural arm

This what we're reduced to hanging our hat on?

I like OP for his content and he's a quality contributor overall but instances like this are why people who are realistic about his current outlook as a first overall pick can't have real discussions with some other fans because they are content with lowering the bar further and further.

The fact that we have people arguing the pass when there is literal video proof shows you where some fans are at.

so far he has about 3 Holy poo throws and I am only about halfway in.  How in the fug do you miss on that type of arm talent.  When his feet are set he is deadly accurate

By convincing yourself some shitty test is more important than play on the field.

    • One of his handful of good games... If he can ever get to a consistently high level, then he'd change minds. As it is... Meh.
    • People are also jumping to the conclusion that Darnold would have figured it out here. I very much disagree. He needed a place where he could be a backup for a while with no pressure. So all the pining over him was pointless. Highly unlikely he would do anything but continue to fail had he stayed here. The one that got away was Baker. He was not as bad as he seemed here. He was always a good player but we were a two bit, middle of the road college program grasping at straws. Had we invested the time in Baker that we have done for Bryce, history would have been quite a bit different. To what end, who knows? Doesn't matter. There are a million hindsight stories that are very unkind to this franchise. There is no one that is more significant than the other. It is what it is.
    • He’s a serviceable starter for us that doesn’t cost much. The reason he doesn’t cost much is that he has flaws, one of which appears to be catching the ball.  It would be good to have a better corner opposite JC but he’s not at the top of the list when it comes to people we need to upgrade.
