I'd have no problem with the Panthers spending all their picks on offense this upcoming draft with most of them being for the Oline.

Who are we going to replace on the o line? We have 3 arguably 4 starters set in place already on good contracts. The only open spot is probably one of the guard spots.

Need depth and if they keep the zone scheme, they need players that fit it instead of the road grading maulers the Panthers currently have.

This argument,  that we shouldn't trade for players because the draft picks are to valuable,  is the absolutely the wrong perspective.  The draft isn't the only way to build a team. You have to use every aspect of getting talent. If they can get a good receiver in their prime, that is a great addition not just to the offense, but to the team as a whole.  This isn't  desperation. It's team building. You never stop trying to add talent. Also, just because some previous additions didn't work out, doesn't mean the team dhould stop trying to bring in talent.

I swear yall just want something to complain about.  Damned I we do, damned if we don't.

The team isn't going to stop trying to add talent just because some of you want Fitt gone.  The poo that falls out of your mouths, off your finger tips, is so insanely constant.

Though I think the draft is the best way to build a roster, I agree with you that we have to explore every opportunity to do so, no matter who the GM is. The entire focus should be to build around Bryce, offensively and defensively. He absolutely needs an upgrade at WR and OL, however we can do that.

I could see the rams trying to package Puka and a 1st  for Burns if Aaron Donald gets his way. He has been complaining about  not having others step up on the pass rush note.  Then again they traded Jefferson, so they may of cooled on that possibility.

It seems like they hit a grand slam with Puka and have him for 4 years on a super cheap contract, I'd be shocked to see them even consider trading him.  Maybe I'm wrong and they see their window closing on Stafford and maybe they'd trade Puka and a 1st for Burns and Chark so they still have a useable WR this year.

But just being honest, I'm not sure that would be a good trade for us, I don't think Puka is the WR we need, we need a true outside #1, preferably someone with some wheels on them.

Puka is essentially a younger Thielen in the way he plays, that's not what we need to give Bryce since Thielen is playing that role at an elite level right now.

I'd still probably do the trade if we had a chance, maybe we can get an additional mid round pick in return by including Chark or TMJ as well, but I don't think it should be our first choice of how to use Burns in a trade if we can help it.

I'm not against trading picks for players, but with how many picks we've lost over the years, particularly for players who haven't lived up to the value of the trade, we have to be very picky in trading picks for players right now.

Higgins is the only known WR even somewhat available that I'd be okay giving up anything decent, with Sutton probably being the only other WR out there that I'd give any picks for, and even that would probably be a 5th at most.

Just because we always whiff on our picks, doesn't mean we should just expect us to keep doing so.  3rd and 4th round picks for us with our draft position this upcoming year will be the type of players that if we hit on them, they can be solid players for us as rookies on cheap deals.  So if we're trading away those opportunities, they need to be for can't miss players like a Higgins, not someone like a Jeudy or Hollywood who is on an expiring contract as well.

Not taking two 1st round picks from Rams for Burns confirms we are indeed, dumbasses.

So I’m split on the Burns trade, he defiantly ain’t worth what he’s asking but we literally do not have a single reliable pass rusher on this team other than him. Yeah 2 first for him sound nice. But I’m still not sure I’d want to trade him for that right now.

What? The draft is the best way to build a team. We are 0-6, stop acting like we have a good team that doesn’t need an influx of talent. If we don’t draft we’ll at some point, we are going to be in this poo for a while.

Also, we’ve traded a ton of picks in the past few off seasons. Are we better or worse after getting rid of Rhule and replacing him with an all star staff? Insanity is doing the same thing over and over expecting different results. We’ve been prioritizing trading away picks for several years and we are the worst team in the league over that time.

I agree and we need speed to the mix!! It's a tough situation  but we definitely  have to add talent around him.

We won’t get the value now, but not trading him last year for 2 1sts and pick 36 was the big mistake. We should have prioritized weapons for a QB that we knew we’d be taking in this past draft. Signing a $30M a year edge rusher was not smart for the future instead of building around the QB.
