honestly, he hasn't shown enough to get much in trades. Incentive laden contract is the best bet.

Agreed.  If we resign him (a big if), it will have to be incentive laden, and make him easy to cut if the injuries continue.  It sucks, because I think he is a very talented corner, but nothing can be done about it.

It is going to be a tough decision.

Imagine he comes back and balls out the rest of the year. What's the team's best option then? Keep him and sign him to an extension or try to trade him for draft capital?

At this point, if a team comes calling with a high 2nd round pick, how tough would it be to turn that down?

Here is another thought, do we give him a 5th year? Are we sure that is 100%?

Injuries are way Chase Young didn’t get the fifth year picked up and now he’s gone for a 3rd round pick while having a good season. It’s hard to imagine Horns value right now is a second with all the health issues.

It's been 2 breaks and a soft tissue. The second break was a fluke thing. He's been unlucky for sure and unavailable a lot. If it was 3 soft tissue injuries I'd be much more concerned, but with all the hamstrings popping all over the NFL this year, it feels like he's just one of the many.

I don't know how anything can be considered "fluke" at this point. Some dudes just don't have bodies that are built to last in professional athletics.

It's certainly possible Horn may be one of those guys.

Hopefully not. These things were said about Thomas Davis but he ended up one of the best we ever had. I hope Horn can do the same.
