Is Tonight Rock Bottom of We Lose?

I have been a fan since 1999, going through the 1-15 season. I've been thinking alot about tonight given all that surrounds this game and the implications of the Bears trade and them starting their backup. If we lose, on national TV, is this rock bottom for this franchise?

I can't help but to think it is. It just further solidifies how bad of a trade we made and how far off we truly are from winning again.

I also don't think it's far fetched that with a loss we might see Reich and/or Fitt canned.

Rock bottom will be the Bears announcing their first overall selection with our pick

With that said I’m not sure if it’s better we lose tonight despite it pretty much guaranteeing them a top 2 pick. We need Scott and Frank gone. This offense and roster is trash. If a loss tonight means they’re gone then by all means

Nah, rock bottom will be Burns leaving as a Free Agent in the offseason when we turned down 2 first round picks and a second round pick for him last year (in addition to the Bears picking #1 overall).

    • I'm looking at the schedule and I see a 10+win season easy.  I think Carolina goes undefeated in the division.  I also believe that the Bears, Bengals, Lions, Browns, Steelers are very winnable.  Revenge game with phillips and the eagles could be a win.  Honestly only 2 games I see as chalking up a L to off the bat is the Seahawks and Broncos.
    • I guess so. Don't think I was involved with previous discussions.  Tepper is one of the newest owners in the NFL. Dan is going into his 3rd season as a GM - ever. Dave is going into his 3rd season as a HC - ever. Before becoming a HC, he was an OC/playcaller for one season total. Idzik is about to go into his 1st year as a play caller - ever. WRs are rookies, sophomores and 3rd year guys - though the experienced 3rd year guys are XL and Coker (who has missed a ton of games). TEs are guys going into their 2nd and 3rd seasons, and Tommy Tremble - though Sanders has missed a ton of games. QB has played 3 years. Chuba is an experienced RB, but Brooks and Etienne have taken very little snaps at the position. O-line is more experienced vets with some talent - which is HUGE. Need them to stay healthy. I mean the offense is very young in every aspect except O-line. You see it differently?
