We get Bryce for another year then cut bait time. I know money talks but what kind of person takes the Panthers head coaching job? It’s a death sentence for a career. I think Tepper will be paying 3 head coaches due to his negligence as an owner.

The coach for 2024 is going to be a lame duck coach imo. All the good candidates wont touch the panthers with a 20 foot pole after this season and not having a 1st round pick to fix it and bring your own QB in.

Most coaches who've made it far enough to get serious looks at coaching an NFL team have, in one form or another, at least some level of ego.  There's someone out there who looks at this and thinks they can fix it.

I mean poo crazier things have happened.  We're living in a world where the Detroit Lions, Jacksonville Jaguars, and Cleveland Browns are all playing winning football.

If people think adding a QB fixes this, I’m not sure what to tell you.

It's part of the fix. The entire offense is trash but a big part of the reason it's trash is the QB.

You can only make excuses for so long. Today was a big eye opener for me. I'd been critical all year of us not throwing the ball down the field but I saw why today. I wanted to see if Bryce could throw the ball effectively down the field. I found out today.

    • Aggressive runner, hits the hole fast, and runs angry.  Just a few yards shy of the single game record for the team.  Absolutely phenomenal performance.  If the gameplan hadn't become weirdly pass heavy for the 3rd and first half of the 4th quarters he might have been flirting with 300.
    • I felt that way before the season started, but I'm sorry, he's already proven he isn't that guy, I don't need to learn anything more about him. He threw the ball 30 times today and could only throw for 198 yards, which was his 2nd best yardage game this year, he's just not the guy. Which means this season has already moved onto the 2nd most important thing going into this season after evaluating Bryce, and that's developing our best young players. You don't do that by only throwing 8 of your 30 passes to your best player who is still only a rookie.  Pepper him with targets and help develop him so he's ready to take a huge leap next year when we get a real HC and QB to get him the ball.
    • Every win comes from a non-sustainable source.  As CRA mentioned, Penix absolutely imploding against ATL, and then today, defense finally clicked and looked the best they’ve looked in a long time (and still have up 24 points lol) and Rico ran for 200+ yards.  We’re not going to get that every week, especially against good teams, which neither Miami or ATL are.  Both MIA and ATL are bad teams and Bryce still couldn’t get it together.  The defense (and team) had to overcome 14 points because of his turnovers again.  That was not even an average QB performance.  We are winning in spite of him.
