Eh even if this goes badly I really don’t think this fanbase would make CTE jokes about a player that was well liked. More probably remember Luke in tears than Dan’s playing days at this point.

You must not have been around when Dan was an active poster on this board and left because of guys who did in fact post things like that.

60% of restaurants fail in their first year and 80% fail within 5, so I'd say yeah. that was trying something unique and it didn't work out, though I heard it was pretty good pizza.

It was insanely good but it was hard to justify 18 dollar pizza at the time. If my wife and I ended up getting married in Charlotte we would have had our reception there, they had an upstairs room for stuff like that. It was a little surreal to have Dan Morgan giving me a sales pitch. I can tell you he is certainly intense LOL

The bartenders there that my friends and I would be with once a month or so were fantastic. The female looked like a supermodel but slummed it great around us. I was sad to see it close but the pizza prices were too damn high

honestly an overpriced craft pizza "experience" was probably ahead of its time in Charlotte, when it opened.

today in charlotte, if you opened an expensive pizza joint that did some craft beers, "pizza artists," some cocktail mixologists, and uh i don't know a dog friendly indoors area with some places to take IG photos they'd have a line out the door.

Morgan was ahead of his time imo

Bullshit bruh. Did you do anything to the people that were actively rooting for him to get hurt….do we need to take this to the tinderbox and have a real discussion?

Who the hell rooted for Bryce to get hurt? I didn't see one post hoping he would get hurt so I must have missed every last one of them. If someone did, I would definitely hope their asses were banned.

Was that before or after one of our most beloved players retired early because of concussions?

Trolls are inevitable but I worry about a Streisand effect because of this thread

Not at all. Rather be upfront about it. Will gladly eat the crow if the bridge is burned. Like I said, if not for Person strongly hinting at it I wouldn’t have given it the same validity. I’m sure if it turns out true it’ll be announced after KC’s season ends

    • Because franchise for linebackers counts all linebackers for the rate, including edges.  Basically any non edge lb is hardly ever going to be franchised.
    • We have clearly gotten better each year.  Stable is never a bad thing when you are continuously improve.
    • Playing around with mock draft simulator this is probably my favorite one yet All the super tantalizing potentials were off the board at 19. Proctor was there but I really question if he can hold up at OT in the NFL at his size. I think speed rushers might put him in a blender. I was definitely willing to move down to pickup more capital. There's an obvious focus on the trenches in this draft. If you can own the LOS you can win a lot of games. Hell, the Seahawks just won a SB doing just that. Iheanachor oozes potential. He has all the physical tools to end up being the beat OT in this class but he's pretty raw having not been playing football long. Well worth it with the first pick in the 2nd. Christen Miller is listed as a DT here but he'd play DE in our defense. Not a lot of people are talking about it focusing on LB instead but our DEs suck too. Lawson should be a day one starter at MLB. His NFL ceiling might be more good than great but that's fine. He's smart, he's capable, and he was the QB in that Bama defense. That's what we need. If you want to run a 3-4 defense, you need a dog at NT. We don't have one. Orange can be that. He's not gonna pile up stats on his own but that's not the point of a NT. The point of a NT is to make everyone else's job easier.  Slaughter is a potential starting center. Maybe not as a rookie but he could potentially be the long-term answer. I'm never going to give up on my dream of the Panthers having a true sideline to sideline ball hawking FS. Safety wasn't high on my list but Bud Clark was too tempting to pass up. At the very least he's a guy who should earn a role on 3rd and long obvious passing down type situations.  Kevin Coleman is exactly the type of slot WR type we need working the underneath and middle with T-Mac and Coker on the outside.  TJ Hall is just a dog and he's experienced playing outside and at nickel. He can cover and he's not afraid to step up against the run. He should be able to earn a roster spot as he hopefully develops as an NFL player and has the tools and mental makeup to be a core STer in the meantime. Nwaiwu is another development type pick with the advantage of having experience playing both LG and RG in college. At this point in the draft you're looking at guys projected as career backups and the more versatile you are as a backup the more roster value you have. I packaged two late rounders together to move up to secure Allar who has all the physical tools you want in a QB and has largely been forgotten since he missed a lot of games down the stretch this year. If he didn't he'd likely be a mid-round pick. He might still end up being a mid-round pick. If I could get him as a developmental guy in the 6th I'm doing that all day.
