All I know is the guy has succeeded at everything that has been thrown at him. There is a chance he becomes a good head coach.

Couldn't be worse than last season.

Eh, give him a shot.

Yep that 1 year OC experience is really great, especially 20th ranked offense. Good times ahead, I’ll check back in 5 years or so.

Every time I come here it's takes less and less time to get triggered.  Hard to weed through the Debbie Downers, idiots and people with a full time Eeyor complex.

I'm an optimistic, glass half full type of dude and I know everyone isn't like that but damn.  No matter what happens the Huddle reacts like the somebody just took a giant dump on their dog that just died in their mothers arms while babies are being beaten in the street.

Jesus, this lot is miserable.

The only way this could have been any worse, is if they hired me, and I am more qualified than the guy we hired. This kid is nothing but Teppers yes man. Tepper will probably call plays.

And the first response is someone telling me the sky is falling.  That nothing could be worse.  That this is exactly like hiring a fan off the street.  That a random guy on a message board is more qualified then a person that has been in coaching for 20 years, 14 of which have been in the NFL.

Yes, I know see the error of my ways.  I'm going to write Tepper a strongly worded letter right now asking how he could have missed hiring Philit99 as he is objectively better and more qualified.

I like you.

Some of these miserable depressed dudes need some sunshine,  a vacation,  and coochie.    Have a little hope.

    • I dont think people realize how hard it is to find a consistent starting QB in the NFL. Byrce will not heart us to a SB but I do think he can manage to get us one or close..go all in on defense and change the Offensive passing game and play calls. I really think our biggest problem is our HC.  Take New Orleans QB for example, switch him and Bryce and I promise you it'll look similar or worse. New Orleans OC is levels ahead of Canales. And as far as the draft goes, in this division with as much rb talent as we face ..the answer...this guy:    Pick up a couple edge rushers in FA along with a corner and plug this guy in Rozeboom's spot. Defense solved. But only if we get a top tier rusher on that dline....jus saying
    • I think I'm going to the game in Los Angeles vs Paraguay, and the England / Croatia game here in Dallas since my mom is British.  For decent seats anywhere in the building(s) it looks like it will be upwards of $7k for the two games.  Insane. Just for perspective, you could buy field level EPL tickets for any one of the top sides in the league, and it would be 10% of the price you'll pay for crappy seats at the World Cup.
    • Meh… I knew this thread would turn into a Bryce/Tua comparison, when they couldn’t be further apart situations.   Dolphins catered there whole offense toward Tua, they brought in a coach that would run a Tua friendly offense, the went in got the best most explosive WR in the NFL and paired him the fastest WR in that years draft. Panthers have done the opposite, they went and got a Pete Carroll disciple who likes to run the ball under center, they drafted big slow WR who got little separation in college. Literally the polar opposite of Bryce’s scouting report coming out of Alabama.   Tua was a decent QB 2 years ago, but the concussions, lack of movement have caught up to him. He never had a great arm to begin with but now since he doesn’t want to get hit he’s taking the whole offense down with him.
