I can't keep up with all the 2nd round pick swaps we did between Bryce, Giants, Rams, etc. but will just assume the trade was basically Brooks for Burns. Burns has looked like ass this year at $30M and Brooks is only $2M so if he's even just average we def won that trade. Hopefully Brooks is a mf dawg

We traded back with our 2nd first to get the Rams 2nd next year.  So it was more like Burns for Brooks plus a 2nd next year plus $30 million free in cap space which was used to sign players like Clowney and Hunt.

As much as we fleeced the Giants in this trade… just imagine if the Fittiot would’ve had his brain hotdog turned on and not retardedly turned down the Rams trade.

I predicted it from the outset. Burns looks like Everette Brown out there.

And then the Bears trade was a pretty dang good out as well. Double dumbassery.

Burns was never going to be worth the price tag I'm glad we didn't pay it, you can get 1 sack every four games and 0 pressures from just about any URFA

And that's even with the fact he's not NYs primary rusher....

Only thing that sucks is not trading him in the Bryce package or to the rams....

(With DJ Moore our offense would be much better)

I still will never, ever, EVER digest or comprehend how that flaming turd of a massive retard Fitt DID NOT take the Rams trade.

I am just absolutely flabbergasted and have no words.

I am not convinced Fitt was NOT a spy that intentionally fugged the Panthers over every chance he got.

I know, right. It was such a an obvious pull-the-damned-trigger-moment. It was one of the defining moments of Fitterer's career as a GM.

    • I think those silver helmets look great. The logo is fairly primitive looking but I understand why it is used.  The dayglo type blue top/bottom, I think looks like a cartoon. IOW not good. White on white is a classic look, no issue. Black on black I can take but prefer black pants with a blue top. Or white pants with the blue top.  That is about as much fashion content as I am comfortable posting. Maybe go to E or Bravo for this stuff.
    • Remember when the NFC South was the toughest division (circa 2002-2006 when every NFC Championship game featured one of the four of us?)
    • You are a fair point argument guy, but I disagree that Bryce got us out of that Miami hole. You know who Rico Dowdle is, right?  Just a small quibble.    IMO when I look at him and see his output in a typical game I imagine what he did that a replacement level guy wouldn’t or couldn’t have done.  And I have trouble seeing much difference.  So assuming they can’t replace him with someone’s backup, not everybody’s but there are guys sitting, assuming they can’t replace him for probably less money would potentially be an erroneous assumption.    But based more on his relationship with the team and the guys making the decisions, the question of will they? I tend to see them sticking with him.  I never wanted him at all. But after all the misery of the Bryce era so far, I don’t have a problem with waiting until the season is complete to decide. Bring it on, I can take it.  So I am not ranting that he needs to go, although I have certainly done that and can’t say he has changed my mind to this point.  He still could.  We’ll see.
