Maybe the Worst Mock I've Seen

Recommended Posts

A running back like Benson and Brooks might be the best players available at 39. All other positions will be in the best 3 to 5 best players. For example, picking the best available WR on the board at the time might be the 5th best in the draft. While Benson or Brooks might be the best in the draft at their positions.

And we want to run the ball, yes. But the OL upgrades should make a guy like Chuba very effective. An average RB. Yes we need to find a guy but I would take RB off the BPA list in the 2nd.

I love Rattler as a lottery ticket. Especially considering I think Young needs to prove he is better than somebody. Anybody. Let’s start with guys on our own team.

Walterfootball.com had us taking a RB in the 3rd and 4th!

It appears these draft websites haven't caught the Cuba Hubbard fever some on this board have.  Personally I think hes' a solid RB2, but not a #1, and most of the pundits seem to agree.  Sanders is an afterthought.  I'll take his contract and be an afterthought too.  Poor guy.

THAT. IS. JUST. TERRIBLE.

That's called the Fishbowl Drafting Technique. You put 300 names in a fishbowl and when it's your turn, you reach in, pull out a name then try to justify it with a paragraph.

I would literally drive to Charlotte on April 28th, wait in the parking lot until Morgan showed up so I could identify his car. Then I'd go to a Taco Bell and load up on bean burritos and Doritos Loco Tacos with extra meat. Then drive back to the stadium, slash all 4 of his tires, fill the gas tank with sugar, then take wait for the Taco Bell to kick in and take a big old diarrhea dump on his windshield.

prob fill up ur pants halfway through the second tire

Consensus Mock sounds like a euphemism for AI generated.

How would a consensus mock be done?

They're literally all meaningless to begin with. I wouldn't give it a second thought.

Yeah. I could understand one, in the 4th but two just seemed silly given the needs and the positional value.

I mean, we should take a RB.  Singular A being the important part and not before the 4th.

    • Another source: NFL Rumors: Hakeem Butler to Visit Panthers After UFL Success, Wade Phillips' Praise ZACH BACHAR JUNE 10, 2024 The Carolina Panthers are expected to conduct a workout with UFL wide receiver Hakeem Butler, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Butler recorded a league-leading 652 receiving yards as a member of the St. Louis Battlehawks. He was previously a fourth-round draft pick by the Arizona Cardinals in 2019. After the Battlehawks were defeated by the San Antonio Brahmas in the XFL Conference title game, Brahmas head coach and longtime NFL coach Wade Phillips told the receiver that "I'm going to tell everybody in the NFL that I talk to that you need to be playing," via Michael David Smith of Pro Football Talk. Despite the loss by St. Louis, Butler still hauled in six receptions for a team-high 59 receiving yards. The 28-year-old was named the 2024 UFL Offensive Player of the Year, as he was one of only two wideouts to have multiple games with at least 100 receiving yards. While the Panthers added Diontae Johnson and first-round rookie Xavier Legette to their wide receiver room in the offseason, they could still use some depth in the form of Butler. Carolina isn't opposed to picking up former UFL players, as Rapoport revealed on Thursday that the team is also "expected" to sign All-UFL receiver Daewood Davis. Although Butler was selected by the Cardinals in the 2019 draft, he did not play as a rookie due to a hand injury and only appeared in two regular-season games as a member of the Philadelphia Eagles in 2020. He did not record a catch. Butler signed with the Pittsburgh Steelers during the 2023 offseason, although he ultimately didn't make the team's regular-season roster. At 6'5", he has the frame to potentially make an impact in training camp and earn a shot at making Carolina's 53-man roster. If his workout goes well with the Panthers, Butler could give himself another chance to possibly return to the NFL.
    • They have all the rookies. The DC game has Ron though. With the new QB. It is weird.  pantherclaw, Bryce sort of is what he is, and in Madden he makes throws the real Bryce can’t make. Here and there. He ain’t ain’t a top QB in Madden though, lots of picks. aone of them lol was the throw that scares the hell out of me when he throws it, out to the boundary... quack quack.
