Bryce got heavier and looked more muscular around this time last year too.  Probably tough to keep it on for him given his age and the workouts coming.

He just wore a more fitted shirt and changed his hairstyle lol. I remember when that article came out.

Bryce has lanky dude bod. When relaxed, he's never going to look like he has much. When muscles are activated, he'll look jacked. It's fine.

Dude definitely been lifting though. Good.

Looking like a young Drew Brees!

oh yeah looks like Drew Brees thinks like Peyton Manning & plays like a mini Patty Mahomes

this kid has been compared to some NFL Legends & that's exactly why he went #1 overall...just saying

I am fond of the “this HOF QB had a crappy rookie year” argument.

So did a lot of guys that washed out of the league.

So you know that Young is like the HOF guys and not the washouts...

It’s like politicians talking....

He's gonna look like a slot receiver out there. He always will. Just play better. That's all I care about. His size is what it is.

That's all that really matters. Either he's a NFL starting caliber QB or he's not. If he is, great. If not, move on.

It's literally all that matters. It's not like he's going to hit a growth spurt. He's always going to be sub-6'. It's not like he's going to hit the gym and show up built like Kyler Murray or Russell Wilson either. I mean, we should hope not anyway. It's just not how he's built. If he does he's gonna melt the piss cup.

I hope he worked on his lower body strength too. He was pulled down so easily at times last year.

This take is just us expecting monsters at QB thanks to Cam, Big Ben, Etc. they're the exception, not the rule. Brady wasn't resisting sacks. Peyton either. They just stood tall and delivered.

That and he's 5'10" being tackled by dudes who are 6'2+ every time. It's always gonna look easy for them lol

Some interesting things about his interview:  First of all, what a great kid-you have to like him and should pull for him.  However, Canales seems to be the only coach in Bryce's ear this year.  Last year, it seems that he was getting coached on several levels at different times (Frank Reich, Dave Brown, etc), and that could lead to a lot of confusion.

Canales said that when a player breaks the huddle and is slow approaching the LOS, he is thinking.  The Panthers were slow all season--including the QB.

I realize we are talking about day 1 of OTAs, but when players like Ian Thomas and Jordan Matthews are getting mentioned, it might indicate the TE room is finally feeling recognized and there is a competition going on--Sanders, Tremble, Thomas, Sullivan, and maybe even Matthews-it could be the most improved position on the offense after guard.

    • Ehhhh except a lot of it was his refusal in college not to play hero ball.....  The two things he greatly improved at the NFL level were his accuracy on the run and learning he didn't have to take the deep shot every play.   That said when taking a massive boom or bust athlete at QB the most important thing is their work ethic/coachability/desire to improve

    • The new (released today) FOX ONE app will allow you access to watch your Local FOX Station - similar to how the Paramount Plus app allows you access to watch your local CBS station It'll cost you $20/month for the privilege, but if you're having trouble accessing the over-the-air antenna for FOX, this could be an option to consider the new ESPN app will give you access to ESPN content, but not to the local ABC affiliate. A reminder: if you currently get ESPN via some TV provider (cable, satellite, youtube, etc) then you should be able to use the new ESPN app via your provider login, no additional payment required
