Same for Turnstill Stuessie .

Calling him Turnstile is so unfair and negative.

If I spelled that right, buy me a coffee lol.

Underdog. I can’t get there with Bryce. And that is nothing he has done (well, now that I say that, I remember: he did game the combine to maintain his elite draft position). So maybe I take that back... he is responsible for being where he is.

Maybe if he gets benched, cut, his dog dies, he invests all his money with Terence Howard’s tech venture, loses it. Resorts to the UFL or CFL, never quits, and makes his way back to the NFL as a journeyman? Then of course the starter is hurt and Bryce comes in... yeah. Second chances, when you are finally ready for it. I am all the way in on that. I’d be cheering him hard. A typical by the numbers cliche story, still fun.

Right now, he is the overdog, apparently too valuable to be exposed to competition. Or too good to beat out I guess? Taking marks off the team for that.

Part two, about losing to us being embarrassing? All over that one, today.

He's the underdog because of his size my friend. All odds are against him despite of how he got here. He's been beating the odds his entire career until now. He's always been a one of a kind at his position and it was not in his favor to be so. How is he not? Because a lot of folks believed in him does not change the fact he's an anomaly.

tbh, a player being bashed is going to happen. Folks will get frustrated and lash out.

It's the insistence on a small handful of posters to tank every thread by repeating the same diatribes (true or not) before attacking folks that voice being over their shtick that needs to stop imo.

We've all fit Bryce into a certain box by now.... You're right, quit bashing the kid... (he never saw the train comin) He'll eventually tell us what box he fits in soon enough... and we'll move on in another direction one way or another... its another wasted experimental season....7 losing season to be exact and nothing we have ever experienced as Panther fans. The pride is weak and hard to be found right now.... Thus the mantra 'Keep Pounding'  is being tested more than ever.... I'll also refrain from  Depper  derogatory comments right now because they always present themselves....I'll take that opportunity later.... which is my favorite pastime.

There are several boxes at Lowes he would fit in.  It's not hard to find one.

I agree and this notion that the Panthers have been a dumpster fire forever also needs to stop.  Panthers have been to two Super Bowls and not long ago chased a perfect season.

The peaks have been high for sure but 7 winning seasons in 30 years and only 10 total at .500 or better, no back-to-back winning seasons ever, and the utter tripe of Tepper's (6 years and counting now) tenure means the organization has been a smoldering dumpster fire for much of its existence. And that pursuit of the perfect record you mention was a decade ago now, basically irrelevant.

I've been with the team since day 1 and take the good with the bad, but let's not try to sugarcoat it. Just the plight of the Panthers fandom.

But that's EXACTLY what is so frustrating about David Tepper, he has blown up a relatively very successful young franchise

The talent drain on this team since he took over is insane

Bull s.hit. We've had losing seasons for  6 years straight, no playoff wins 8 years straight.  There's been a long consistent drought since that season you're referencing. Stop the cap.

    • Idk man, I think it’s necessary.  There’s people working 9-5s everyday that get told poo about what they aren’t and what they’re not capable of and they’re working for scraps.  These guys are making millions.  People are watching and invested because their team and fandom is a part of their identity and a big source of pride.  When someone like Bryce comes in and is given chance after chance after chance after proving he is not worthy of the position he’s being gifted, and he continues to be the biggest reason above any that we are losing, yeah…  I think it’s fair to call a spade a spade.  Am I saying Bryce the person is trash?  Bryce the person is a piece of poo?  Absolutely not.     I came up in an era, especially in basketball, where if you were fuging up people heckled the poo out of you.  I played in rec leagues as a teen where the fuging parents were calling kids trash and yelling poo like “TURNOVER!!!  TURNOVER!!!”  “CANT DRIBBLE!”  “CANT SHOOT!”  And that’s adults screaming that poo to kids like we were in the fuging Rucker lol.🤣🤣🤣  I went on to play basketball at a collegiate level and with professional players in different settings.  What those experiences as a kid taught me was to see if there is any merit to what people are saying, and if there is, then work my ass off til they can’t say that anymore.  Come back better, tougher, harder.  And I did.  If kids can figure that poo out, an adult calling another adult who is bad at his job while making millions and millions of dollars will be just fine.
    • I have tried to like this team, lord knows I have tried. BY9 is a nice young man, if I had a daughter he can take her to prom, but he ain't QB1 and he's not Cam or Delhomme Chuba is a average RB, he isn't Stephen Davis, he isn't J-Stew McMillan has the makings of a good WR, but he isn't 89/Moose D. Brown is a great player, but if the game was on the line I want Kris Jenkins       I miss this brand of football, even in the bad Jake games the games were entertaining It has been nearly 8 years now of watching numb football
    • I'm not so sure. Something about the whole Frank/Bryce situation seemed off from day 1. Bryce didn't fit Frank's QB mold as well as Stroud, then he basically gives up when Bryce is named starter in preseason but gets virtually no reps in games. Then he looks completely unprepared and Dalton steps in in Seattle, has a decent game under immense pressure, and it's right back to Bryce. All his mechanics are terrible and he's having the worst rookie season ever and Frank doesn't bench him?  You dont have to be a conspiracy theorist to know Bryce wasn't ready to be a day 1 starter. Everything with Bryce, then coaches, and the FO seemed forced.
