But Bryce Young looked ABSYMAL all last year under Frank Reich and coaching carousel 

I am the first to eat crow and own that I had NO HOPE for Young

 

 but today I saw a poised young QB, getting the ball out fast with an offensive series tailored to his skillset

 

I ‘THINK’ Tepper may have finally gotten it right with Canales

Honestly, the speed Young got the ball out without the hesitation he showed last year has given me so much hope. 

Will be interesting in week 1 to see how he looks, but it's amazing what one good drive can do for a fan base

I am about 3% more optimistic about Bryce, Canales, and the trajectory of the Panthers than I was before the game. One drive against a team’s second stringers doesn’t say a ton but it was enough for us to be more encouraged than last year. 

If we see Bryce show similar results against a good Saints defense I will be bumping that number up significantly.

It was promising and an improvement, but we really need the regular season to get here. If they perform well wk1 and stay consistent, we may have finally struck gold. I’m staying optimistic until otherwise.

It might’ve been 2nd 3rd stringers but i saw real plays for once compared to last year and Bryce wasn’t hopping on one foot.. seamed to have better mechanics.. it gave me hope today!!

It really amazed me how so many people here and other sites trying to grade Bryce off of one season where everything around him was crumbling. A HC with no clue how to use Bryce, offense was changed three different times, horrible o-line and concepts and horrible receivers.

It really was an unreal thing to watch people double and triple down on. Anyway, I agree tho, on limited action Dave is looking like he could be it.

I was as down on Bryce as the next guy, but he looked much better today....I hope it carries over to the Saints game.

Ignoring that it was one drive in one game (Green Bay, anyone?), being McDaniel lite would mean just missing the playoffs instead of being bounced in the WC every year, right?

If Bryce and Dave do succeed together this year it will be an even better look than what McDaniels did. We don’t have Tyreek Hill and Jalen Waddle running around out there
