Would quarterbacks avoid Carolina Panthers in NFL Draft?

Arch Manning is a pipedream for the Panthers no matter how you look at it and honestly as far as I'm concerned there is zero love for the Manning's anyways. The whole talk around him reminds me of Suck for Luck. Another pipe dream people should remember well.

At the end of the day 9 times out of 10 if you draft a QB in the first or anywhere else they are going to be excited simply to be drafted regardless of the reputation of the destination.

I'm seeing a notion that rookie QB's like Stroud are a rarity and that's too early to say. The issue with that is not many people believed in him to be what he is now. Many viewed him as a player that would need to be developed over time slowly. But for teams looking at QB's going forward it would be wise to identify some things about Stroud not just in his physical tools that everyone saw on tape but his approach his mentality and his personality that all came together to form the QB he is today.

People are fooled by Sanders because of his dad. Imo he has always been the best QB in this class. I seen him with a bad Oline for 2 years now and He Still Stands Out! That is special. Anytime he has time to throw he's throwing darts while also getting knocked on his chin. Say what you want, but that kid is tough. The hits he takes are just nasty. Yet he keeps on getting up. I like that.

 

Saying that he is not a option because Deion would never allow it. For that reason I have been on the trade back bandwagon.

I wouldn’t want a soft QB who avoided a challenge. 
 

Imagine Cam doing this…actually I can’t even imagine it because he’s an alpha to the core. 
 

We need a strong leader who wants to win at QB. Need a tougher mentality.

Manning ain't stealing the job. If Quinn Ewers were like mid round prospect, but seeing was the favorite to win the heisman and looks completely in control of that team, I don't see it happening.

probably not but if he is out a couple of weeks who knows, would steve s simply give the job back if manning was tearing it up?  I dont know

If Manning is putting up crazy numbers I doubt they pull him.  I understand Ewers is the experienced vet and I am sure they will keep Manning on a short leash knowing Ewers is behind him.

I like Sanders the quarterback but I have serious doubts about all his other BS in the NFL

If he went up to the podium and threw his OL under the bus like he did 2 weeks ago then he’s loses the locker room for good. 

At this point the whole Deion circus sh!t versus David Tepper might be entertaining as hell. Maybe Deion keeps Tepper in check and starts calling shots. Can’t be worse than what’s going on now

Bingo. NIL is the equalizer for the top college players, especially since the NFL has a rookie contract scale that limits how much they can make those first 3-5 years. The big money is in the second contract and these guys know it.

Depends on where you're picked.  Bryce is getting almost 38 million guaranteed on his rookie deal.

There will probably be some QBs who'd want to avoid coming here. That's fine. However, there will be some who will be glad to come here. Remember when Luck avoided us by going back to college (not sure if proven but it seems that way), but Cam outwardly expressed interest in coming here and going #1? He was the better fit for us. So if they want to avoid coming here then that's on them. We'll take who wants to come here and wants the challenge. I just want a QB who wants to inflict pain on defenses again instead of someone who gives free stats and accolades.

I had forgotten the signing bonus. That said, if you're a junior QB in college and can get paid a couple million to stay in school, take less hits, play less games, and be paid more than Young's base salary, would you, especially if it meant not going to a team that is seen as ruining careers? Some of last year's NIL numbers. This year's college NIL top 20. The second NIL link includes some non football athletes. Depending on contract structure, some of the college kids are getting paid more to do less.

No big, famous and high drama qb please. A rookie qb is looking to go somewhere and not get murdered by an o line filled with practice squad players. Seeing Andy get quality protection will go a long way to enticing candidates.

I mean we have to actually see what we have. Andy Dalton looked like an actual QB(go figure) in the snaps he's played here. With a literal nothing at QB the entire team can't be properly evaluated.
