Unfortunately, it was clear as soon as they showed him coming the tent.

Have to assume he is retiring.   Hate it for him.

Our defense is toast the rest of the year.

Our defense was toast before this...just a little more burned.

Josey "Wales" Jewell went down yesterday too.  They said it was a groin/hammy.  Guess no word on him yet.  Pretty soon the entire defense will be practice squad players.  DJ has a groin too but he finished.

Haha The Outlaw Josue Wales… that’s funny!  Def gonna use that.

Prayers up Shaq, I appreciate everything you’ve done and sacrificed for this franchise.

Tepper’s Turf strikes again.

The players slip on the surface--I noticed that we could have prevented that Cincy TD at the end of the first half had we not slipped.  Not injury related, but damn.

I met Shaq at the OTAs during his rookie year.  Washington was on the quarter system, so he was late.   I am 6'1" and I was taller than him--I am guessing he was 5"11" and he had a pretty thin frame--probably weighed about 220 then.  As a 4-3 OLB, maybe, but an inside LB?  His body has to be telling him to stop it.

    • I assume you are quoting my still. If so, I don't know what your argument is since mine was simply showing a play where Bryce scored a TD against the Rams in the playoffs where another poster used a similar still of Herbert's line to defend his poor performance last night. Like I said, Herbert is a better QB but Bryce wins the game last night for the Chargers. It simply is something he does better than Herbert and would play to his strengths. Someone even said earlier Chargers only win 1 or 2 games this year if Bryce was their QB which is so absurdly laughable it wasn't even worth trying to address. I mean this thread is literally called "Bryce Young is the worst QB in Panther's History" so I understand there is no objective arguments to be had here but I found that amusing.
    • I think his knee would make a good reason to switch to guard IF he returns.  Half don't.  Half of those don't last too long.  The strain on a knee (320lb man) vs speed rushers is more substantial.  So I would keep him if I could on a small contract (he will make $17.5 in 2026 fully guaranteed) and think of him as a possible guard for the post Lewis/Hunt era.  Knee injuries in big men are not invitations to invest in them.
    • I'd give anything to go back to a 4-3 but we are so removed from having the pieces for that. All because Tepper wanted to force this 3-4 on all our coaches.
