Community and shared belief can be a good thing, but organized religion is a scourge on humanity. Catholicism is one of the worst, or at the very least directly owns some very big, very ugly blemishes.

A religion where it's religious leaders are forbidden to have any type of urges while at the same time being locked in a closet listening to people spill their dirtiest secrets. What could possibly go wrong?

I don't know why anyone would want to protect those that prey on the innocent while spouting their religious server. Just doesn't make sense to me.

Seems to be very common these days, actually, and applicable to the majority.

Anything that man touches he tarnishes with corruption.  Never before has religion been weaponized and used by political figures as it has been recently.  According to Pew Research center, and I had a discussion with a Methodist minister about this recently, Gen X-Z are disassociating from the church in record numbers.  Those in power or seeking riches on earth use it to manipulate....It is called menticide in some cases--brainwashing.  To see it for what it is, you have to be objective and willing to see what is under the blanket.  Pew says that 50% of the American churches--mostly evangelical, will not exist in 2050.  For the first time ever, American youth value "common sense" (36%) over spirituality (24%) when making ethical decisions.  So no, the church is not above corruption, greed, and manipulation of the masses.  This is not really new--but it is being exploited now like never before.  Because of more access to the media, Children are less likely to be scared into church and forced to believe the dogma as before.  They see the greed, lying, and manipulation.  This is not mocking Jesus or God--this is exposing those who distort images of Jesus and God so that they can rape, rob, and manipulate you to vote one way or another.  This $50 million dollar preacher knows what I am talking about, as did/does Jim Bakker, Catholic priests, Falwell, Swaggart, etc.

Let’s be honest, this is just a human thing. Pretty sure evil people are in just about every nook and cranny. The bigger the story, the more we hear about it. I don’t think the Nickelodeon/Hollywood pedos are into religion.

Acting as if the removal of religion would turn this world into a wonderful place is very myopic. I don’t think the Catholoc church has assaulted more children than the weird uncles/awful parents of the world, but it’s easier to attack a single entity.

Saints suck and I hope they get folded.

    • You’re playing madden we’re talking real football stuff…. He does have you seen his special on internet he def thinks he’s getting paid
    • Without the team having an identity kinda hard to predict what they value.  They either are really trying to build a balanced team, or preparing for another swing at qb if Bryce doesn’t pan out. Seems like we value the o line but the $ spent there has been underwhelming besides Lewis, you could say it’s because of injuries but still hasn’t been worth the investment. as already stated, the whole handling of Bryce young as a whole has been ass backwards, we spent the years we’re supposed to take advantage of having a qb with a lower cap hit, building the team up to be adequate. now It appears, key word appears, the saints have done it correctly, which is painful to even think about. Regardless, I hope the front office has paid attention to qb contracts recently, such as Tua, Kyler, Daniel jones(pre colts) and don’t settle for subpar qb play at franchise qb rates
    • This is the flaw in your logic.  Cutting 3 of our best players will somehow move us from whatever we are to "compete". Even the most Young super fans are not predicting a ceiling above top 10-12, and that will not nearly cut it.  Someone will need to break the log jam of QBs getting nothing or North of 50. Our qb is at best a middle ground, lets hope it will be us that also manage to pay the worth at about 100 over 3 years.  And before you jump me, yes that is only of he improves.
