No, i'm saying 100 million is big motivator to stay on the field lol

The Panthers are protected either way, he stays on the field and produces, earns the contract. Stays on the field and doesn’t, he can get cut in year two and save the team 17m dollars. If he doesn’t stay on the field, he doesn’t earn a large portion of the contract.

it’s a really well done contract if you look at the fine details.

Amazing how injury prone players can get it together in a contract year lol

More amazing that fans call players-  who have injuries that have nothing to do with themselves,   in a sport that is that is very hard on the human body - injury prone.

Hes never finished a season, that's a issue. He's had two big injuries, I am willing to classify his chest injury as being "out of his control".  You can be a dawg or super tough guy, but if your bones are brittle or tendons are weak, your body will fail.

Again I have some friends in the strength community, only 2 players have I heard glowing reports without even asking- CMC and Horn. Horns problem was the same as CMCs, too much training= too much stress= injuries. Finding that balance is only for rare chosen, most these players are lazy and coast on gifts. Horn was a 8 year pro day one. Im a fan and enjoyed his seat belt playmaking, but Im a fan of players on the field. It seems a big portion of his money is tied to GP and I hope he earns it all.

I'm glad we got him locked up. I love Horn not only for his talent but for his Panther pride on the field. He takes losing personally and he still wants to be here and make us a formidable squad. Hope we one day talk about him like we do Minter, TD, Luke, etc.

Record deal: Texans All-Pro CB Derek Stingley Jr has agreed to a three-year, $90 million extension including $89 million guaranteed. At $30M base value per year, Stingley is now the highest paid defensive back in NFL history. The CB market has been completely reset.

I said earlier Horn won't be top 5 this time next year, at this rate he may not be top 10

Another reason to congratulate Morgan and the cap guy we’re doing amazing cap work overall with all these deals so far this offseason

The "Horn has never finished a season" narrative is ignorant at best, willfully misleading at worst. He would've finished last season had the team been playing into the postseason. He got shut down out an abundance of caution, likely a lesson learned after losing Corbett at the end of the prior season.

    • See that's the thing what I saw in game 2 was so embarrassing id rather they could just forfeit
    • Are you arguing that his height deficiencies and footwork within the pocket have not been a present issue clearly seen on his game tape particularly in the games he struggled in? Because that's simply denying what everyone in this fanbase who have watched the games have seen. It's interesting how hardline BY fans here quickly and effortlessly pivot from whailing about being victimized to becoming the aggressor and hurling out allegations of bias and hatred. And at the end of the day while Bryce Young clearly improved significantly from the first two games of the season the reality of the situation is he still finished 42nd in yards per pass attempt behind Mac Jones and tied with Caleb Williams and 38th in passing yards per game behind the likes of Gardner Minshew Aidan O'Connell Drake Maye and Will Levis. Furthermore it took Bryce Young 23 games to surpass Panthers legend Kyle Allen's 13 games worth of passing yardage in 2019. So if your argument is he became a head and shoulders better passer over the course of the second half of the season the reality is we're still waiting to see that growth this season. And there is nothing controversial or vitriolic about saying so from the mind of a rational observer.
    • Cam regularly threw for less than 200 yards and nobody questioned he was elite. He averaged 219 yds per game for his career.  You seem to be way too hung up on yards as a stat.  By that definition Jameis Winston should have been MVP by now.
