I heard he deliberately tanked interviews with teams he didn't want to go to.  Problem is they all talked to each other

Yeah while I can acknowledge some of these QB's going before him are laughable he's definitely earned the rep he is getting around the league.

Disregard his 40 and watch the tape.  He has video game speed and is an elite route runner.  He is quick as hell in and out of his breaks.  I get his size concern but in the 5th its a damn steal.  He is exactly what bryce needs

His dad did the same thing, but he was a true elite CB. Deion became the highest paid CB as a rookie, different times. 

Sanders wasn't on that level. He's still better than 4th round.

I thought he was going to the Steelers, but I also seen a report that he has zero chance of that by one of the best reporters.

      I feel like this was the case with River and McDermott defenses as well, we just had the jimmies and the joes to overcome these deficiencies with all pro players at edge and linebacker positions.  Even then, was extremely frustrated in 2015 when we'd let team come back from 20+ pt deficits playing prevent only to barely win at the end.

      We need to move on soon and just use Bryce as a bridge to find our next guy. I'd like to see how this offense works with Canales hand picking his own guy. Bryce holds this offense back a lot considering you draft the first pick to carry your team and be your best player. We invested heavily for Bryce and need everything to go right just to have him look like a solid game manager sometimes. When he plays well he can look decent or mid, but when he plays bad he looks like a bottom 5 qb in league (backups included). It's not worth it, especially if we need to pay him soon, which means we have to skimp all over the roster. If the defenses don't hand it to us on a silver platter Atlanta style then we struggle big time. Defenses don't respect the offense at all. With Cam we could have the worst offensive talent and I'd still think we had a shot in any game we played. If Bryce is facing a 3rd and 10 I pretty much wave the white flag and don't think we can make that first down.
