We’ve seen this too many times to just say “oh well it’s preseason”

When Frank was here it was “he’s keeping everything vanilla because it’s preseason”. Turned out to be our actual offense

Last year Canales gave the starters 1 series and we proceeded to crap the bed the first two games of the year

Assuming Dave doesn’t play the starters next week we had 1 out of 4 drives not end in a 3 and out. Legette had no idea where he was supposed to line up on that first play. Legette should’ve been out there a lot longer than he was today.

At this point it’s not really an overreaction based on our recent history

All valid points. If any Panthers fan says it’s just preseason they either just started following the team or they belong in an institution.  I have zero confidence in the team, and for those that do, tell me where you get your copium.

Still waiting on the same people every year to come in and say "oF cOuRsE wE lOoK bAD, wE'RE rUNNing A vAnILLA plAYbook!" as if we don't see the same incompetent sh*t once regular season hits. Tepper football will always be bad. We just got a bad owner. Commanders got lucky and got themselves a good owner, which is why they were able to turn it around in only 1 offseason.

Hi guys I missed the game I looked at the stats and seen Bryce only threw 2 passes someone please fill me in to what happened and how did the starters look?

Bryce threw a pick first play that was negated by a defensive hold. They’ll play it off as a smart play since he saw the flag, but it’s an unnecessary risk.

second pass was too high for Tmac. Honestly not terrible seeing as Tmac would have been the only one to catch it.

third pass sanders was open, perfect ball placement for a first down and it went right through his hands.

second drive was a play action mass protect with two receivers running a layered concept to the same side of the field, nobody was open. Bryce runs for two yards.

on the sack, I couldn’t see down the field to see if anyone was open. He held the ball too long in my opinion.

mix in two Chubba runs where he looked slow and timid to the line and you’ve got an ugly offensive couple of series.

on defense, Nick Chubb was getting two yards before he was touched. Run defense is gonna be atrocious again.

Ain’t no overreactions lol. Huddle Panther fans, in general, have been right more than wrong. This season will prove the same

I want to call out certain posters lol but I’ll be good

It's wild to see people look at this roster and talk playoffs. It was hard to not just audibly laugh every time I read it.

If you rewatch the play the flag was thrown as bryce was running toward the sideline, I dont think he saw the penalty

    • Not in same league. Caldwell just hit a 10.00 on the RAS. 2nd out of 3830 from 1987 onward.  https://x.com/MathBomb/status/2027885023387349047 Yeah I mean Louis had a sub 9.00 RAS. Still very very good, no doubt. Louis is small, no 2 ways about it. He is likely a sub package lb in nickel packages or specialized WLB. Be fine ST gunner to start for sure. 6 foot flat and 220lb is pushing it for a starting LB. At 10 to 20lbs less than the other LBs he'd better be closer to the top in most timed drills. He's gonna be challenged when some of the wrs in the class can matchup bigger stronger faster, much less TE in the run game.  Yeah instinct matter and he has them, but that size is a massive red flag compared to many of the other LBS in this class.    Rodriguez is the LB that really climbed this week from a pure grit guy to great flash with athleticism people wrote off cause he was a QB at first at UVA. 18.4mph in the backpedal. Production the last 2 years were great. I'd be thrilled with him as the future mike.   Hill likely moved out of 51 and into the top 45 picks ( Ravens at 45 I can't imagine don't bite if he makes it there). Honestly Hill imo is a 1st rounder and I'd be ok with him as he fits the MLB we have missed the last few years. People would crow it's a reach but he's top 30 all-time I'm RAS for a LB at 9.9+ . Plus he was big time in big games when he was healthy. And that br a big check: meds.
    • Miller, Melo, Coby, Moose, and Bridges all on the floor at the same time must be a nightmare for defenses lol. Switch one out for Kon and still a nightmare. Coby really does bring a true 6th man value and looks like he could start if Melo was out after only a few games of getting his feet wet.
