The last 7 comeback players were qbs.

Renfrow is on the list for betting. Brown isnt mentioned at all on vegasinsider on the expanded list.

Rogers is a favorite and he's not coming back from anything but disappointment

I think they changed the rules and Rodgers wouldn't even be eligible to actually win the award

I think CPOY shouldn't be awarded for people that just play better football vs last season

But there is a big difference between trading DJ Moore and trading AT.  AT has no future beyond this season.    AT was hurt last year and we pulled him out of retirement with a check.  AT is the type player you should trade.

I’d argue we do it all backwards.

I don’t understand why this is so hard most of the board to understand. Sound like we missed the other day when we could have gotten a 4th rounder at Thielen’s peak. AT wants to go home to Minnesota and quite frankly if Bryce can’t do it without AT he isn’t a franchise QB.

We are not a Super Bowl contender this year. Holding Thielen hostage during his last year in the league will not change that.

So did the Panthers initiate this by making him "available for the right price" or was this something Thielen himself pushed for?

I also never saw this quote he made about JJ McCarthy back in June.

https://sports.yahoo.com/article/panthers-adam-thielen-both-asked-182711572.html

Thielen believes McCarthy is built for big moments and will eventually show the world the skillset that won the Michigan Wolverines a national championship in 2023/2024.

He even said McCarthy could be the “face of the league.”

“I have high expectations for him. I've been able to be around a little bit through some of the time last summer... back in Minnesota, and I think he has the ability to be one of the great quarterbacks this season and the face of this league at some point. You know, I think he's got every tool and intangible that you can have,” Thielen said.

“Obviously, it's a difficult league and it's not gonna just be easy, but I think he has the ability to handle adversity to be able to be big in big moments, as you saw when he was in college. I think he's got a great support staff around him, whether it be the coaches or the trainers.”

Sounds like he's had one foot out the door for some time now.

According to Lions reporter, the Lions have also reached out to Thielen's agent.

Yeah this needs to happen ASAP. I don’t care if the price is lower. These Vikings fans on Twitter are absolutely insufferable. Acting like they have been world beaters for the last 60 years and thinking Carolina should just hand him over for nothing. We’ve had 7 or so tough seasons in a row and we have still been to two superbowls since they have and won more playoff games since 1995.

I hope Dan sends him to Detroit for a 2040 7th rounder and eats half the contract. Even Sheena is replying to them.

    • I used to think Juan was a Zod alt. Agree he's a great poster.
    • Hawks said nah we good and sent him to the shadow realm aka the Wizards. Cold blooded. I mean they're 2-2 in a series with a young up and coming Knicks team largely through 34 year old CJ McCollum. Even if they ultimately lose the series at least they are there and have something to build on. I think Hornets fans are just beaten down and lack the objectivity to assess the situation. They think we are going to get so much worse if and when we finally change gears. Worse how? We've already been a lottery team for years now. We've already been looking to win our first playoff series in about a quarter century. We already can't get past the play in and in failing to do so we have completely embarrassed ourselves twice looking like we don't even belong. Honestly there is absolutely no excuse for a team like the Magic to be more competitive and successful than us in the playoffs. Absolutely disgusting. But that's just me. I was fuging lit when we got the Hornets back in Charlotte but that is old old news. It's time for these boys to get into a playoff series. Enough is enough. If they can't do it for 2026-27 then they need to make wholesale changes regardless.
    • Not one single pick that is asking me why we drafted a guy in the first place. It was a guy we needed and/or a guy that had certain traits making them stand out. Best of all, I feel everyone we drafted are capable of stepping onto the field this year and have a meaningful role (even Kuwatch on special teams). Obviously, nothing is guaranteed but I'm not seeing any huge flags on guys because they're risky projects or massive overreaches.
