Idk why we have posters claiming to care about evaluating the down roster guys or acting like a developmental QB3 is the only thing between the team and a postseason run. The honest thing to do is just say with their chest that they think we are doomed with Bryce instead of pretending they give af about getting better tape for WR12.

They are still trying to develop qb1. Qb2 doesn't need development. The qb3 position only runs the scout team in practice.  Until qb1 is settled the qb3 position is just an afterthought. Get use to it.

Meanwhile, Davis Mills is all the competition Houston needs. /s

If only they were a dynastic team like the Raiders who have the infallible Aidan O'Connell and now the Kenny Pick6 in the room. That's a team built for back-to-back-to-back Super Bowls.

The reality is that teams don't have 3 qb's because they are "developing" for the future. The only development going on is qb1 unless they are a 5 plus year vet. They bring in qbs in the offseason as a camp arm that may upgrade your backup or to replace the starter if there isn't one. If your team needs a starter the draft is the best way, not free agency.

He's not wrong though. You talk like a politician on here. Leaving yourself just enough wiggle room to say you never fully counted Bryce out if you need to....But we can all see it. I liked Hooker once too but he was worse than Plummer while on a better team.

Hooker looked pretty bad this preseason. Devito could be interesting, but once again QB3 not really a big deal whoever it is. They aren't supplanting Dalton.

Agree, but no decent QB will accept QB3 money.  If 1 sucks and 2 goes down, they will go back to 1.  If 1 goes down and 2 sucks, they will ride with 2.  If 1 and 2 go down they will call a QB pff they street before they start 3
