Former RB Mike Davis on Rhule and CMC

Recommended Posts

With Rhule-

We brought in a college program guy to be a franchise builder. In reality, he didn’t understand how to coach professional sports or build out a professional franchise.  There’s a level of feel, communication and professionalism required to work with guys at the pro level. He only knows how to play coach with the college boys.

I think he always knew that. But he grabbed the bag anyways.

Basically Rhule had CMC doing full-speed, goal line drills in OTAs coming off injury.

Pretty much explains why CMC wanted to be traded and further illustrates how stupid Rhule was as a coach.

This actually makes me somewhat appreciate what Canales is doing as far as preserving and players’ health as much as possible.

Not surprised Fat Fhule would do something that moronic... Dude relied on bossing his players around and hoping they would listen to him in college - that crap doesn't work in the NFL

Brett Jensen basically said that the building has JUST been exercised from the Ghost of Rhule.

That dude fuged a lot of football operations up

Whered you see that? Always a fan of listening to people poo on Rhule

College coaches do a lot of stupid poo that doesn't work with full grown men who make more money than they do.

I've long held the belief that Tepper has never been near the problem he's made out to be.

He hired 2 horrible coaches and let their "football" mind make the decisions.

You can trace most resulting mistakes to coaches desires.

The man held a press conference where he did virtually all the talking after firing his third head coach in three years while relegating his front office personnel to glorified lackeys.

Do you work for the Tepper's?

    • You’re playing madden we’re talking real football stuff…. He does have you seen his special on internet he def thinks he’s getting paid
    • Without the team having an identity kinda hard to predict what they value.  They either are really trying to build a balanced team, or preparing for another swing at qb if Bryce doesn’t pan out. Seems like we value the o line but the $ spent there has been underwhelming besides Lewis, you could say it’s because of injuries but still hasn’t been worth the investment. as already stated, the whole handling of Bryce young as a whole has been ass backwards, we spent the years we’re supposed to take advantage of having a qb with a lower cap hit, building the team up to be adequate. now It appears, key word appears, the saints have done it correctly, which is painful to even think about. Regardless, I hope the front office has paid attention to qb contracts recently, such as Tua, Kyler, Daniel jones(pre colts) and don’t settle for subpar qb play at franchise qb rates
    • This is the flaw in your logic.  Cutting 3 of our best players will somehow move us from whatever we are to "compete". Even the most Young super fans are not predicting a ceiling above top 10-12, and that will not nearly cut it.  Someone will need to break the log jam of QBs getting nothing or North of 50. Our qb is at best a middle ground, lets hope it will be us that also manage to pay the worth at about 100 over 3 years.  And before you jump me, yes that is only of he improves.
