how do we “open up” the offense for a guy who cost us 7 points on the first drive, and then blew the chance to take the lead on the next drive because he threw a pick straight into a defender’s chest?  There’s no magic play to fix that.

He threw it straight to a defender when he had green grass to run for 1st down. Those are the decisions I’m not so sure you can fix.

Some people have said Jones might have a year like Darold did with the Vikings last year.  Indy doesn't have a horrible roster, just inconsistent QB play.  Spotty QB play can make even a decent team seem bad on the surface for those just looking at wins and losses.

      I am not sure he will put the over the games but we’ll probably have them.   Two things I am thinking.  We have 4 preseason games.  All the coaches have enough service time to know the standards that are in place for decades. If I recall it was play your starters just a series to start woth and build it up until week theee where play a lot and you have week four to set hour roster. Evaluate before cuts.   Bevell will certainly have the whole thing down pat.   I’d they don’t do the fries and frie air will worry too. Because it is set up to do that.     I have said since they went t three preseason people have to figure a new way are still feeling it out and trying things.  We don’t have to this year.

      At least we have Mike Kay and his little buddy sidekick whoever to put you to sleep when suffering from insomnia. They're all useless unfortunately.
