PJ Walker, wins this one

Darnold, Mayfield, Teddy, win this one.

That kid kid that came in for the last preseason game that was good in spring ball this year, maybe wins this one.

If Bryce sucked and was exciting games may be watchable. Like if its 50/50 he does something amazing or awful, that may be fun.

But he sucks and is just such a boring damn player to watch. I'd rather see Chuba run the ball 40 times a game then watch whatever the hell approximation of being a pro athlete that Bryce craps onto the field in 95% of the games he's started in.

Should call the giants and inquire for jameis

He isn't the answer but at least he can throw the ball ten yards down the field

Nah. This keeps happening.

Also, Canales has the ability to bench this bum QB. He did it before.

This is on Canales above anyone else.

You and I both know that Tepper isn't going to let Canales make a permanent change at QB. He (and his wife) have too much of an emotional investment in him.

Lol. I don't think Renfrow has any monster days left in him but he definitely could have been impactful.

Yeah, AT will be missed for what he brings to the offense. Still, we would be toting this L, regardless.

Monster day is relative to Renfrow and Carolina But yeah, he would have had a really nice day with well placed throws to him.

What Bryce needs is to take of this uniform, burn it in a barrel, and go sell used cars

He has a pretty decent future in the Kellen Moore model. Suck as a player, coach, and still kinda suck at that too but in such a way that teams keep you around.

I thought Renfrow was the type of receiver Bryce needed. I was wrong. What Bryce actually had to have is a CMC. A back out of the backfield that can take a three yard pass and do something with it routinely.

This isnt directed towards you, LG, just using your post as a springboard to a more general realization…. I think it’s officially time to stop looking for the mysterious piece Bryce needs.  In our optimism, we all hoped XL was it.  Or JT.  Then Tet.  Then Renfrow.  He has the most physically talented WR corps we have ever fielded and still looks like poo.  We’re talking about an NFL QB who only had 56 yards in the 4th qtr, was just sub 50% completion, and has two, and what should have been three turnovers.  This experiment is over.

    • Baseball is waqaayy better suited to statistical analysis than football. If a hitter hits a home run, it's pretty much his own effort though the point goes to the team as a whole. For a team to score a touchdown (let's say via pass) the center has to make a good snap, he and the rest of the line have to block well enough to keep the defense from getting to the quarterback, the quarterback has to throw a good pass, the receiver has to run the correct route and catch the ball, the other potential targets have to effectively play their roles, and so on and so on and so on...  Any single one of those things going wrong can short circuit the whole thing, and even if it's all done right the defense might still stop it. Individual stats just don't paint a complete picture. There are too many variables. To get an accurate picture that way requires looking at things from several different angles, something most folks are either ill equipped or unwilling to do. I don't bother with all that. I just watch the game and go by what I know.
    • Bryce logic is just The Golden Calf of Bristol logic boss.  It’s the same Skip Bayless argument  doesn’t matter he isn’t very good.   Doesn’t matter he is why they are so often down.   Doesn’t matter he doesn’t really generate offense.  We got some really odd ball wins and there are some are some random late plays…it’s just a repackaged Tebowmania argument.  But more bland.  It’s a run game and D carrying the QB…..and wanting to over credit the QB
    • Whew, it won't compete against the Pop Tart Bowl (#12 BYU Cougars vs the #22 Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets - Saturday, December 27, 2025, at 3:30 PM ET) And yes, the Pop Tart Bowl DOES have the best marketing plan of all the bowls
