My bad my Wildcat brother

I feel like I spoke it into existence for him to become a Panther, and all I did was saddle my GOAT with this team, this offense, and unfortunately this "Quarterback"

My excitement of the last 4 months since we drafted him has quickly turned into "oh poo, please just don't ruin his career before it's able to get off the ground and show him to be the player I know he can be"

Sorry The Hangover GIF

I’m sorry man but I’m still not 100% sold on him. He clearly is our best WR but that’s not saying much. My worry is still separating. He got no space on the almost TD. In college he can make those contested catches but it’s not the same in the pros. Easy TD if he’s got even a little separation, but the CB was able to grab his left arm around his back. Thats how close the CB was.

I think he’ll be our #1, but I need to see more separation to feel like he was worth pick 8.

The separation would be nice but what he lacks with separation he more than makes up for with hands.  He just catches almost anything close to him, tight coverage or not.  Now we just need some to throw it to him.  X, I’m worried about him, the easy catches and he can’t even remember this isn’t college anymore, it takes 2 feet IN BOUNDS

Playing WR for Bryce Young is like aging in dog years...

Tet catching 5 passes for 68 yards is the equivalent of snagging 35 catches for 476 yards with an actual QB.

Honestly, XL could be the second coming of Randy Moss for all we know. With Bryce under center, we may never find out...

It was obvious after 3 quarters he's legit. Most of the time you can tell pretty quickly on the great ones. Cam was obvious after one game. It's the eye test.

Meanwhile, some are still trying to convince themselves 30 games in that Bryce can just be an average QB. He has never looked the part.

So true. Even with Josh Allen's first rough couple of years, you saw the potential with him. He just wasn't consistent, but he would rip off HUGE games both passing and rushing that would make you go "yeah, this dude has the chance to become something". Bryce has NEVER shown that. Not one game where you go "wow, this kid will be a beast". It's been the same sh*t since his first regular season game to now. Xavier Legette the same thing.

TMac today definitely looked the part. Just too bad we paired him with one the worst QBs in the league

lol josh allen looked pretty bad there for a while

He did, but there were EARLY glimpses. Hell, his FIRST game starting he went for 245 yds 1 TD and 32 rushing yards. That would be a GOOD day for Bryce. The eye test showed he belonged, he just wasn't consistent.

Where T-Mac stands after Week 1 (albeit before MNF)

Tied for 25th in the NFL in receiving yards overall... 2nd among all Rookies

Tied for 19th in the NFL in receiving yards amongst WRs... 1st among all Rookie WRs

Tied for 10th in the NFL in 1st Down Catches... Tied for 1st among all Rookies and 1st among all Rookie WRs

Not too shabby for being stuck with Bryce throwing him the ball in a broken offense.

    • 31st rushing D and 8 carries by Rico is coaching.  Rico is easily the best offensive weapon right now and it’s not really close.  *literally everyone knows Dalton is washed, horrible and shouldn’t even be a backup QB.   Drive 1? ZERO carries.  Coaching.  Drive 2 - Rico was playing great.   Did Canales lean into that or go for “balance”? Coaching. Drive 3 - ZERO carries.  Coaching  Drive 4 - 1 carry and opted for Jimmy Horn gadget rush (you can’t stick  with the Horn repetitive gadget runs each week and that’s not a better idea than getting Rico going)  Drive 5 - basically Dalton heavy as the half expired.  I don’t need to watch a game to know it’s coaching.  The gameplan wasn’t about setting Rico up to go off on a trash rush D.  It was bullshit harmony balance of the rush and the pass and making Hubbard feel good.
    • In the locker room after the Dallas game, multiple  players said FEED him when Canales mentioned Rico stats. That already made me think even the locker room wouldn't care if Rico got the touches rn. This is on Canales indeed and I agree n the Qb take.  We aren't winning  bc of Bryce  but he has been managing it. Had the Jets had Qb aptitude,  we could've probably  lost that game too. All they would've needed is 14 points. Regardless, we got a team  that's being built up and that position needs an overhaul.
    • I think he was trying to mimic the Lions with Montgomery and Gibbs. They are just more of the exception to the rule and Brooks was too much of a gamble to be a Gibbs type player. The Lions also didn’t sign Montgomery and draft Gibbs until their offense was nearly set. It was more of a luxury take the offense to the next level type of deal.
