He looked way better than the start of last season. Just two throws i blame on him, throwing to XL in traffic instead of using his feet and not throwing a catchable ball on 4th and 1. Pff agrees.

Not saying much.

Arizona could be his last game realistically.  Another multi-turnover loss is going to be tough to keep trotting him out.  Dave made the move to protect the locker room last year.  Seeing the videos of BY9 isolating from the team on the field and bench in TV breaks has those some vibes.  Watch his teammates, their attitude towards Bryce is the tell.

Nothing like going into your Week 3 home opener by benching your supposed franchise QB and putting in your 40 year old backup QB the week of that game.

Zero chance Bryce isn't the starter in Week 3 unless he gets hurt next year

I'm 100% sure teammates would rather play with Dalton at QB.

If they were going to bench him then they would have brought in someone other than a guy they 100% knew couldn't hold together for many games. So either they want to give him a breather again or there is a hand on the scale or they are just flat out dumb and about to panic at some point. Considering the only other guy on the active roster has limited availability then how do you not see Young going in again with 16 to go? I can't see Hooker playing more than PJ did. Young's dead cap makes him a target for the end of the year IMO at this rate so any trade would have to be without him. That might make better football to watch but it's likely to buy just a few wins for what I can only imagine would be a lopsided trade at this point.

If you believe that grade you might as well believe in Santa Claus too.

Try this.

The rest of the team knows Bryce isn’t “our” franchise QB.  They’re just going through the motions.
