How hard is to coach when you don't have a QB and the team was nearly completely devoid of talent from poor drafting for nearly a decade?

I'd agree the current braintrust isn't exactly helping things.

Sigh you went right back to the same poo. He doesn’t struggle to throw 10 yards past the line of scrimmage. The personnel doesn’t exist to do that consistently. And if you think I’m wrong. Then again name who on our team is better than Hunter Henry or Diggs? Who?

His footwork has regressed and all of his improvements there are basically gone. When his footwork isn't right, he can't throw deep consistently. He was able to throw deep last year because of the footwork improvement. Look at his feet, it looks like they did early last season. Like he forgot nearly everything that made him a better QB.

Egbuka going to run away with OROY.  His QB can throw vertical

Yep, he's going to have it locked up pretty early this year thanks to all these early season TDs, it won't take a crazy second half of the season for him to end up with more than enough yardage to go with the TDs to win the award.

I still would have taken T-Mac over him 100 out of 99 times though

    • Watching games this year again and Bryce missed a wide open XL many times and some of them were in the endzone. I get the kid has mental lapses and hasn't broke out yet, but this is year three on a rookie deal! Cutting bait now is too early. If he hasn't gained anymore trust from his QB, posted any highlights, little production, or outright gets beat out then we can talk movement.
    • Samesies   I truly may just cash completely out of Panther football if we give him a long term deal that isnt necessary.  I have watched NFL for 50 years now and I can without a shadow of a doubt say you cannot win consistently with BY.  Way too many limitations to deal with.   I may come back around in 3 years when the inevitable happens and all parties are either cut and/or fired.  Giving him a deal before this season so you hopefully can get him cheaper in case he "blows up" or if you truly believe that he will has to be the most moronic decision a gm can make when the evidence is laid before you with different players
    • This is the one! I was at that game and all KB had to do was lay down on the corner after the pick or make an obvious tag while he was down. He had already ran a lazy route. Then if Cam would've just walked to the sideline like most elite QBs instead of trying to make the tackle.  A lot of people bring up the TJ Watt hit, but he just reaggravated a bunch of scar tissue from that play. And every Cam hater said that the running did him in and it was a dive tackle attempt on an interception that initially began the shoulder deterioration. He still went to New England later and would've got them in the playoffs had their A team not sat out the covid year. We quit on him too early. But hey how good was Teddy? Am I right?
