I mean, there really is cope coming from y'all.

Did Bryce play well yesterday? Not at all. Was he the reason special teams gave up 167yds on 3 punt returns? Not at all. Was he the reason Chandler Zavala and Brandon Walton were ass? Nope. Was he the reason that the LBs continue to be doo doo? Negative.

Hell, at this rate he's definitely not getting the bonus option picked up and it's going to be back to drafting "the guy" in April 2026 (2027 at the latest). He just hasn't been good enough in year 3. How in the world could you of all people call that cope?

The cope really comes down to people thinking that Bryce is the main issue that this team is ass when that just hasn't been the case. Is there a low ceiling with Bryce as the QB? Looking like it, but the floor isn't in the dirt because of him. When somebody is spending 90% of their time on the board bitching about the QB and derailing threads just to do so, that's cope.

Bryce is what you call reliable ass.  Generally each game you know he is going to be ass.  To get a win you need great days from other units.

ST at his point, just had a bad day.  Which happens.  Bryce obviously isn't responsible for the errors of others.  But he can be part of putting folks in tough spots given the game.

but yes, Bryce Young is 100% the biggest issue in Carolina.  It's a QB league.  When your QB stinks, it has a negative impact on virtually every aspect of football.

When you don't have a QB you don't have a chance so yeah, if the QB you invested massively into giving up a lot of roster building capital to acquire sucks then yeah, that's your biggest problem in terms of roster issues. Keep making excuses for Bryce and coming up with new and increasingly entertaining mental gymnastics to try to cover for him but it is what it is. We would have hope if we had a QB. We were ass Cam's rookie year but we were all excited because we knew we had a QB. All other roster deficiencies are easy fixes compared to QB.

Derailing threads? Man you derailed your own thread in your initial post. LOLOLOL

lmao panther fans online are begging BC to start whereas the coaching staff is so reluctant. this team would be better ran through online polls instead of this poo

Seriously

Was there literally a soul on this board that was in favor of Corbett being handed the Center job?

Corbett was god awful this year. Mays is immediately noticeably better. Literally to no one’s surprise minus this coaching staffs

As for PFF, the Carolina Panthers building an entire analytics department of guys poached from PFF and then fielding this roster, I mean...

To be fair tho, it has produced what seems like our best draft in years. Our top 2 picks look legit which is a nice change and our mid round picks are actually contributing.

    • So Willis had a good game against a poor defense and all of a sudden he is worth 50 million and is guaranteed to be better than Young. LOL I know he looked good in the 3 games he started, and I think he will have success long term, but anyone signing him up for a long term contract for 50 million is taking a huge risk.
    • Is he really though? Rivera was past his prime and probably shouldn't have even started 2019 so his firing wasn't really unexpected or unwarranted. Rhule lasted two and a half years which was about one year too long in my opinion. Bringing him back that third year certainly wasn't impulsive and I would say Tepper was more patient than he should have been. Wilks finished out that third season and did pretty good but most everyone could see he really wasn't anything more than an intern HC. Bringing him back was not the long term answer so not bringing him back was the correct call. Hiring Reich was a mistake from the beginning and he recognized that fairly quickly. I am sure he knew he was going to catch a lot of sh*t for firing him so quickly ( and boy did he ) but it was absolutely the right thing to do given everything that was going on. The firing may have looked impulsive, but I think it was him recognizing he had royally f*ck up and just dealt with it instead of letting it fester.  That brings us to Canales. 2025 was only his second season and yet he delivered 8 wins and the NFC South title. And while that might not sound great, given the lack of talent and cap space they started with, it's a strong step in the right direction. I couldn't imagine Tepper not being pleased with their progress given the crap the Panthers' have been though under his ownership.
