Yep he still has his moments but LT’s don’t grow on trees and he’s still only 24 years old (25 in 10 days)

Most of us remember what that position was like during those between after Gross retired and we drafted Ickey… I rather never experience that again

Yep. Michael Oher gave us a season of good play before getting derailed by concussion issues but other than that it's been a poo show.

Rotating in Chuba was beyond stupid and really hurt our offense overall. We’ve been in a good rhythm the last 6 quarters or so but Canales figured disrupting that with Chuba would be worth it

Rico fits this offense so much better than Chuba

As far as grades go I know that ain’t our RB1, starting Center and our supposedly deep WR room and exciting talented young TE in dead last. Weird. I wonder if that has any correlation on QB play

Even that first incomplete ball Bryce threw in the end zone that hit Legette’s hands. Legette had no business being there so early. Legette went into scramble drill when that ball was intended for Coker who led up because of the traffic there

I was all for giving Chubba the opportunity to regain his starting position, after all we gave him a nice contract. However, the difference in our offense with Rico compared to Hubbard was like comparing night and day.

Rico runs with a purpose of not losing yards, EVER.

It's nice to have two good running backs but loyalty to a paycheck compared to output is absolutely stupid. Canales has to face the reality that Rico is a better back and should be treated that way.  To the point where I want us to lock him up for several years.  Maybe next year if Brooks comes along, we can trade Hubbard at the trade deadline next year.

Andy didn't really look great either. He had the same issue Bryce has specifically on that deep ball... Legette had to basically stop and wait for it cuz it was so underthrown

We need a legit qb

I read a post from someone on here that later in the game the wind gust were pretty gnarly, maybe that affected Dalton and Bryce’s passes?

You telling me you don't miss the Byron Bell days?

We can cut Chuba after this season and eat 4.5 mill in dead cap/save 3 mill

The only thing is you are banking on Brooks to be 100% healthy.  God forbid Rico gets injured than we are completely out of quality RB.  I am not sold one Etienne.

I actually like Etienne and think he’s a fine complimentary back

Not taking a 7mill cap hit charge for Chuba

If you’re moving on from Chuba why cut him? Hes a good player on a reasonable contract. You could trade him.

It was his first game back from an injury and there’s no reason to think he wouldn’t have feasted too against the dolphins and cowboys.

Is there something Rico did special here, besides somehow not score?
