REPORT: Bryce Young ankle injury is “just a one-week injury”

NFL Network’s Cameron Wolfe said it “sounds like” QB Bryce Young’s ankle injury is “just a one-week injury” and the “hope” is he plays in Week 9 against the Packers.

The Panthers listed Young as doubtful to play in Week 8 against the Bills, rather than ruling him out immediately on Friday, so a Week 9 return makes sense. Over the last three weeks, Young finished as the QB23, QB12 and QB24. He will likely return to the low-end QB2 ranks against the Packers’ talented defense, if active next week

It was never a high ankle sprain and I don't think team ever said that. He got cleated on the calf. Seems like something you could tough out

Onay then, this is funny poo but the goal is to have Bryce prove what he can do with the team they built for him

So we hope he can play and be healthy and show what he has.  Because we need to see that he can be the QB to go forward with. Once and for all.

If Dalton plays well in a win against Buffalo I keep him in there. Bryce has done nothing at all to suggest it’s his job to keep once he returns. But I suspect Dalton will suck too and we lose

Not saying he will but if Andy throws 3TDs and 400 yards, will it still be a 1 week injury?
