It has been hard.  We have a patchwork OL and a crappy QB to deal with. Wishy washy play calling.

Finding a bright side or silver lining is a challenge. I try but it is weak sometimes.

About the only improvement I can see is the defense has performed much better than they have in a long time. And ironically Evero is not the weakest link in the coaching staff. Canales has been looking more incompetent as this experiment plays out.

Evero could only do so much last year with the crap he was given. It's unfortunate our time line likely doesn't have him around when we actually have a offense good enough to make noise.

LOL can't make this poo up

Cardiac Cats except its entire games now. Can't wait for the Cardiac Super Bowl wins followed by 0-17 seasons each time. WTF

Well, we are the same team that NO beat up a few weeks ago. Look at today. Our D had a great game but they only punted 1 time. Turnovers including a pick 6 were the difference. We weren’t stopping them without turnovers.

Bryce makes some throws and played big mistake free but we still needed Brown to make a huge play to win. Young isn’t the guy to win a SB but this could be a fun year if we can beat Tampa.

Isn't this a team effort?  Why is it so bad that we won the game from efforts of both the offense and defense?

Who said it was bad? Just adding some realism that you can’t count on 3-4 turnovers a week. We played two playoff teams and we had like a +6 turnover ratio and we lost by 11 and won by 3 with a pick 6 as well.

It’s ok to realize we’ve still got holes and can lose to someone like NO. It’s ok to still realize that Bryce isn’t our long term answer but enjoy winning some games.

If McVay sticks to the run a bit more in the red zone, it’s not a stretch to think we are down 27-10 to 35-10 at the half. We are still that kind of team. We absolutely need a team effort and when we get behind enough that Bryce has to win the game in a heroic effort like Allen or Mahomes, etc., we can’t.

Listen, I like the Panthers and I was screaming when we had the end of the game plays. Doesn’t mean that my brain thinks we’d beat a mistake free Rams.

I’ve been holding off on posting after the game simply because…I don’t know, I have no idea what is going on.  We should not have won today, it shouldn’t have been close.  I think I’m just going to shut up and enjoy the ride we are on.  I’m not a fan of Bryce, I’m not sold on Dave but Holly poo he just out coached SM and Bryce did exactly what we needed him to do…I just don’t know what to think of this team but well done young men, well done

    • Damn Logan Jones had a good day too. Was high on him coming in as he anchored that top Iowa line and is a fire plug inside. He's gonna be 25 to start the season so maybe he slips into the 4th but I doubt it, even if C isn't a premium position. His play on the field was top notch and the combine boosted it again. Arm length is about the only knock. But guy is plug and play at C.   This is a loaded class at C. Need to grab one.
    • Bryce will be permanently replaced by a draft pick. There's not another Sam Darnold out there to save us. Tepper is going to see this throw because he dumped Mayfield and Darnold too soon. He's going to give it 1 more year before he will sign off on dumping another 1st round pick qb. Thats the cold hard truth of it. It doesn't mean we can't get younger and much better at the backup position.
    • Maybe I should have used a different word and saved that for me. I want someone that has something impressive about them.  Someone that has potential to supplant a guy who is producing 25th best type of numbers. 22nd, 27th all that bottom third neighborhood.  I don’t know where that will come from it just can’t be from even a 4th round pick this year IMO. Unless FA is crazy productive.    I’ll give Bryce a better than bottom rating for his playoff game. Well above low twenties. But at least half of his games were bottom third level. Probably 2/3 to 3/4 of them were.
