We usually ALWAYS split with ATL so I'm expecting a L there

Kyle Shanahan always toys with us. We are his doormat.

Rams are going to obliterate us. They've been playing some of the best football in the league

Seahawks same way. Bryce might not have 50yd passing in this game.

Saints game is a tossup, this is the only win I see happening

We MIGHT split with the Bucs because division games are wonky, and they might rest starters week 18, so of course we'll ruin our draft spot by about 7 spots just for a annual "moral" victory to end the season

The ONLY way we sneak a win or 2 our of this remaining schedule is if Dowdle or our defense has one of those games where they take over. Other than that, Bryce isn't getting past 150 yds in any of these

It's not even about always splitting with the Falcons

When you embarrass a team like we did that game (although one could argue they embarrassed themselves with their play that day), and then you play them again at a point their season seems all but lost, it then turns into that team's SB game for that season.

I have a feeling we not only lose, but lose by double digits

It blows my mind that it took nine games for an opponent to figure this out.

We didnt start Rico all nine games.

He blew up against Miami and Dallas

We had the platoon system going against Jets and Buffalo and offense looked like trash.

It wasn't until after Green Bay that the formula was out on how the Panthers needed to play to win.

We historically don't win in Atlanta.  We aren't beating the Rams or on the road versus the 49ers.  The Seahawks are for real and it's the Darnold revenge game (we always get slobber-knocked in revenge games). Tampa is actually playing better on the road than at home this season

That leaves two games I think are possible wins, the Saints and the last game in Tampa if they rest players because they can't improve playoff positioning.

Only way we win another game, is if a team forgets to load the box. This game showed Bryce can’t carry a team

Doesn't need to carry the team. Just needs to make the right reads and do the bare minimum asked of him. Take what the defense gives you. And be able to throw more than 5 yards.

Any team watching film of the Panthers has a chance to fall asleep at the wheel like GB did. Even Olsen called it playing with your food. That and conference foes will equal another win even if it's ugly and dumb.

I mean, hell... it's been obvious for 30+ Bryce starts at this point that if you can choke our running game down and force Bryce to beat you with his arm you win.

Everything is a 180 overreaction. People see a win as we are going to the playoffs and a loss as we will lose out.

We will push towards 7 or 8 wins like we hoped for as a decent step forward. We were never going to be better than that with Bryce Young.

I'm not gonna go that far.

Hate to say it, but this is looking like another one of those years where we'll win just enough games to put us out of position to draft players we could really use 😞

But somehow the eagles will draft a pro bowler. Maybe its not where we pick but who's making the picks?

This front office could be gifted the first ten picks in the draft and still would get it wrong.

We've got a QB who can't stretch the field, so we drafted a WR who only stretches the field.  Stupidity. Instead of me (and a few others) screaming for Tyler Warren, who would've helped our inept QB in so many ways, including lining up at QB for gimmick plays that Bryce can't execute.

Until we completely overhaul the front office, it won't matter where we draft.  Good players in bad systems become bad players.

    • All this talking and it’s simple, as an average fan he is horrendous to watch play the game of football.  As an average fan I can give 2 sh!s about his NFL average arm that can’t read defenses.  And as an average NFL fan my eyes tell me he just flat out sucks! singned, average NFL fan
    • Boys in here already pooing posts 🤣 Truth hurts.
    • To further your point, CRA, I still remember someone posted here in the pre-draft buildup a whole spreadsheet of each QB prospect from that draft class’ advanced stats.  It showed the attempts, completions, yards by area on the field, depth, whether it was in the pocket or out, etc., and I remember vividly, I was already out in Bryce based off my observations and feelings from the season prior…  but in the spirit of objectivity, I decided to look at it with a fresh set of eyes, and all it did was further cement what I saw.  What stood out to me most was that Bryce was THE WORST prospect out of that whole class in completions to the sidelines.  I remember already thinking he had a weak arm, but seeing that in the stats just gave me further conviction that he was not going to translate to the league because that’s one of the biggest staples in NFL football.  I also remember looking at all of the other throws to other locations on the field and compared to the other prospects I walked away feeling, “well, what does he do well?”  It was almost jarring compared to the reputation he had been given.  Nothing stood out.  And that exact evaluation and sentiment has carried over to his pro career. I really wish I could remember who made the thread or find it.
